Yeah, I've tried to uncover as much of each map as I go, and I've done all side missions available so far (I assume), along with all the crew challenges and collectables. And while I'm not under-leveled for missions, I'm way under-leveled for bosses of those missions. The missions themselves (up until the bosses) are mostly a breeze.

Not sure then. I only play solo and I'm playing as FL4K so I unlocked a perk where my pet can revive me which comes in handy since I die a lot.

I totally agree that the bosses seem substantially more difficult than in 2 or 1. It really helps to have at least one other person helping, so the attention isn't 100% on you the whole time.

There’s almost no way to beat a boss 3 levels above. I hope I font find that. I’m level 7 with FL4K and yeah my OldBoy Spiderant is fucking awesome, but only one miniboss so far. Think guy who looked like Madhatter. But he was Level 7 as well so not too bad...

Most of the bosses and even some of the enemies are way too spongy for my liking. Aside from that, the game is quite good.

I grinded, getting myself just one level below those bosses instead of three, and I finally beat them.
I also got lucky using a golden key that got me a couple guns that really helped in both fights.

Early on it's a bit tough since you really haven't unlocked much on the skill tree and frankly I've found just the lack of elemental weapons period didn't help. It's been obvious just on my observation that Fl4k is the most played character especially solo because all three skill trees have solid pros. Last night with 11 on my friends list playing, six had Fl4k, two Zane, three with Moze and none with Zane....three of my closet friends have Fl4k already at 28 and up running solo. I'm using The Skaag (Great Horned) with gamma burst and it's just hilarious. I'm almost at Eridian Skaag...just a Level 17 though since we're swapping back and forth with other characters just trying to get them all to Sanctuary.

Hands down the worst character in this entire game so far.

Anyone seeing some Side mission Quests with the Yellow Asterisk appear on the map and then be gone? We've seen it quite a few times (level 12-17) and last night I told my friend to take a screen shot, we went there and it was gone...Sanctuary quest with Tannis. Last night we did the Lectra City, at the start there was three Yellow Asterisks,,,,.then two disappeared.

Yeah, I think it's a glitch. I had an exclamation circle next to an area's name in the warp menu, and that are is 100% done. Whereas other areas that aren't 100%, but also don't have available quests yet do not have it. So it has to be a glitch.

Re: Borderlands 3 (9/13/2019: PC, PS4, XB1, Stadia)

If there's a real gripe about the game we have...it's the lack of vending machines on the maps. The last two we've ran thru, Lecta City and the next one where we meet Maya, there were no vending machines period and we have to fast travel back to the start and walk/run all the way back thru 2-3 times.....considering all your upgrade stashes now cost money and if you die it costs a heck of a lot...you need as much as you can get. I find it odd that where you first start there's vending machines all over but last two maps we've played...one set only nd at the beginning.....other than that I'm enjoying the game period...

Yeah, some of the mid-game levels are shitty like that, in that they only have vending machines at the very beginning of a fairly long, linear level, with no warp points in between. I hope they patch that shit, but they probably won't.

In case you didn't know there was a Patch released yesterday though small there were important changes...like several weapons got some good buffs and a few small nerfs. Also a few changes to some skill tree with Fl4k, Amara, none on Moze but some big damage buffs to Zane's Clone and Sentinel. List is here....

If you have your game in suspend mode when an update is available sometimes you need to exit out of the game for it to take effect.

I’ve never heard of that mode. I have auto updates set on. I got something today which was probably it, but wasn’t there before...

Suspend mode is when you put your system in rest and the game essentially paused instead of closing the application and turning off the console. I never intentionally leave mine in suspend mode because if there is a power flash, which happens here somewhat frequently here, it says that the system was improperly turned off and it then has to scan the system for corrupt data. What a pain.

Re: Borderlands 3 (9/13/2019: PC, PS4, XB1, Stadia)

I enjoyed the game, but may be the least I enjoyed one of the series first play through. But that may be my fault. I rushed through the main storyline to try and get to level 50 and mayhem mode. Once you get to mayhem mode the side quests are all your level, and so are the rewards, thats why I did it. Now that I am doing the side quests, I really like some of them. Eden 6 is the best planet by far.

The Ava character is terrible, and almost ruins the main story to me. Also my character feels inconsequential, totally ignored by the cutscenes and overshadowed by NPCs.

Once you start getting legendaries, the game isn't that hard. I'm running around on mayhem 3 and more than holding my own. And legendaries definitely start flowing on mayhem 3. Im selling so many seemingly useless legendaries for back pack space.

I wish weapon skins, head, player skins, room decorations etc had a separate color for drops. I have no clue how many I ran past because they may be white or green.

Re: Borderlands 3 (9/13/2019: PC, PS4, XB1, Stadia)

I've been asking myself how some are getting to Level 50 so fast and might now know...we're opposite in exploring every part opening everything and doing the sides, Claptraps, Logs as we go. It's taken longer but we're having fun just checking everything out and all the side missions as they pop up. Been tempted to just blaze ahead but don't think so...

Oh...on save points and quitting and returning...how come it's sending you back to the Fast Travel sometimes. Don't know if it's my coop partner or what but everytime she quits out and we start, it's back at the Fast Travel....I thought you quit and when you Play > Continue you pick up where you quit out?

Re: Borderlands 3 (9/13/2019: PC, PS4, XB1, Stadia)

Yeah, I’m gonna do it all. I don’t give a fuck long it takes me to level up. I’m doing everything my level or slightly above. I don’t think I would even reach 50 before I finish. Don’t think I was ever there on first 2...

Re: Borderlands 3 (9/13/2019: PC, PS4, XB1, Stadia)

Yeah, play the side missions. They can be much more fun, the main story was a huge disappointment to me. Terrible, the more I think about it the more I hate it. The villains are such a step back from Jack. I mean seriously, you have a siren that absorbs powers from sirens, I am an Amara player (a siren) and they have no problems sending her to fight the twins. Shoddy writing.

The gameplay is definitely better though.
