I've checked all four of the Character trailers and all four look like they'll be a blast...literally. But there's four of us who are getting the game day one and I already told them I've got Dibs on The Beastmaster....he's related to Mordecai for sure but even more so with a all sorts of animals at his command. plus sniper.

They should have done a custom console. I'd probably double dip for a Borderlands themed PS4.

I'll pre-ordered mine first day of September...doing Ghost Recon Breakpoint this month for the September 5-8 Beta....and I'm not big on paying extra for cosmetics so I'll go with the standard edition. In case some might want to take a peep at the Skill Trees of each, they are up....some pretty insane stuff and frankly no character is lacking....

I liked Borderlands 2 though ultimately I found "the pursuit of stuff" repetitive and I lost interest, no matter how much I liked the gameplay, graphics, and story. The game felt like it was 85% collecting guns or hoping you got a good gun. Boring.

Still, I'm considering this, though I have a very busy fall and I'm not sure if I can commit to it like I'd want to so I can stay the same level with others. Anyone picking this up right away on PS4?

that's the beauty of this series. it's what it is literally touted as. and they say what billions or zillions, something like that for this. sheer first person shooting at it's addictive fineness. and when you do find that one gun, it's like magic bringing it to the finish bc it just fits your play style so well. it might be repetitive, but they make it just so darn fun getting to the finish...

Some of us who played the first Borderlands on the 360 were discussing the new Remastered Borderlands (first one) on if to play it again and we pretty much all said no though tempting. Why...well we all played all four classes and every DLC Pack to the point wee can almost still remember the game by heart. And with Borderlands 3...we'll do the same thing; play all four classes and venture into everything thrown at the game in terms of DLC. It's no different than any other game with various Classes and Characters....you want to try them all and that's sort of the beauty of it...same with Diablo, Path of Exile, Destiny or any others out there.

Anyone redeeming VIP codes to earn loot prior to release? Head to borderlands3.com (my link if that's cool) to sign up (if not, it's simply https://borderlands.com/en-US/vip/ ). Signing up gets you a grenade, shield, 500 points and some other trinkets. There are some surveys, watch trailers, link accounts, etc. to do to earn a bunch of points.
