1st game you played on a new console?
 

so what is the very first game you broke in your new consoles with?

SNES:
Star Wars: Super Empire Strikes Back (Super or something it said. forgot all about that one)

Nintendo 64:
Super Mario 64 (simply fantastic for its time, loved this game and still have, what i believe is a working N64, for it)

PS2:
GTA 3? (pretty sure i got a PS2 for a GTA game, but no idea which one. remember liking it, but because there was no wireless controller i sold the whole system and all the games i bought for it. i used to have big OCD)

Gameboy Advance:
Super Mario Bros. 3 (loved it and beat it on NES, had to relive it. still have it in a no battery GBA collecting dust)

Sega Dreamcast:
Ecco the Dolphin (I believe or Soul Caliber. loved this fleeting system)

Gamecube[/U]:
Pikmin (hated it, sold and never played again)

XBOX 360:
Halo: Combat Evolved (even though it was for the original XBOX, wanted to play this and well, you know the story...)

XBOX One:
Halo: The Master Chief Collection (playing Halo again is like a freshening experience, only played a few minutes thus far, but switching to Alien: Isolation for the the true One experience)

NES- Mario 3- This one came with the system. Hooked me right into gaming.

Atari Jaguar (My parents skipped SNES :( ) Cybermorph. It was okay but my Dad loved it and beat it. Looking back on it the game was horrible.

PS1- Crash Bandicoot- We rented the system from Family Video. My Sister liked it more than I did and bugged my Dad to get us a PS1 :lol:

PS2- Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3- I brought the console over to my best friends house and we stayed up late playing . Still one of my favorite games on PS2.

Snes- (The first game system I bought with my own money! )- Super Mario World and Donkey Kong Country- This was the first time I realized I didn't need the next big graphics system for a game to be good.

Gamecube- Mario Sunshine- Still one of the strangest Mario games I played.

Xbox- Halo- Great memories with this one.

360- Hexic and Oblivion- Hexic was the game that shipped in the harddrive. Oblivion blew my mind. Especially when you leave the sewers and the world is revealed.

Wii- Wii Sports- A fun but forgettable title. I played two times and shelved the game.

PS3- MGS4- This one came with the system and was the 80 GB model.

Xbox One- Dead Rising 3- Awesome game.

PS4- Assassins Creed Black Flag- Only played a few hours before deciding I need to go back and play in order. BF will be my next AC game to play now I'm caught up with the rest :)

Atari 5200 - Probably Pac-Man (I think, my brother bought it)
NES - Gyromite (A neighbor got the original release with a R.O.B., my first NES game was SMB)
PC - Oregon Trail (I died of dysentery!)
SNES - Super Mario World (What else?)
Game Boy - Tetris
Playstation 1 - Tekken I think (never owned one)
Playstation 2 - WWE Smackdown Vs. RAW 2006 (never owned one, played with friend)
XBOX 360 - WWE Smackdown Vs. RAW 2009 (see above)
Playstation 3 - Grand Theft Auto IV
Playstation 4 - Resogun (My disc games arrived later than the console)

Xbox 360 - Arkham Asylum

That's all the consoles I ever owned. I kinda grew out of gaming after the PS2/Xbox/Gamecube era. I am only a very casual gamer now, and I only ever got the Xbox 360 because the Arkham series is so badass for a comic book fanatic such as myself. Arkham Knight is therefore the only real reason I am looking forward to the current generation of consoles.

PS1 was Ridge Racer I'm sure.
Xbone was Fifa, that one is easy since I only have 2 games for it.

The rest I have no idea, offhand I can't even think what I played first on my PS4 but I imagine it had to be Fifa as well.

From what I remember:

NES: Super Mario Bros. 3
Gameboy: Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins (I'm fairly sure it was that one but it could have been the original Super Mario Land)
Nintendo 64: Goldeneye or Super Mario 64 at my cousin's house before I got my own. The first one I believe I played when I got my own was Star Wars Episode I: Racer as that came bundled with the system.
Nintendo DS: Super Mario 64 DS
Nintendo Wii: Zelda: Twilight Princess at a friend's house but Super Mario Galaxy when I got my own.
Genesis: 6-Pak- the game included Columns, Golden Axe, Sonic the Hedgehog, Streets of Rage, Super Hang-On, and The Revenge of Shinobi. I'm fairly certain Sonic was the first I played on it though.
Playstation: I want to say WWF Smackdown! 2: Know Your Role.
Playstation 2: I honestly don't remember what it was.
Playstation 3: I believe it was Batman: Arkham Asylum
PS Vita: Uncharted: Golden Abyss
X-Box 360: Call of Duty 2

NES - Super Mario Bros. (pack-in). Mach Rider was my first non pack-in game.

Gameboy - Tetris (pack-in). Super Mario Land was first non-pack-in.

Genesis - Altered Beast (pack-in). I believe Last Battle was my first non pack-in.

SNES - Super Mario World (pack-in). As for non pack-in, it was either Zelda: A Link to the Past or Street Fighter II. I know SFII was what sold me on the system
