I just picked up Mabel for $5 at Amazon. Tom Nook is the same price, but my kids both said they hate Tom Nook. I wouldn't mind picking up Blathers and Mr. Resetti, but why spend so much if there is precedent in dropping AC Amiibo prices?

Yeah, like I said before, both games that use the Animal Crossing ones are basically a bust with the general gaming public (though my daughter loves both of them). Not that people buy Amiibos for the gameplay, but I think people wanting a Super Smash Collection are ok with avoiding them.

I know, however, if I wait for these to clearance they'll disappear, because that's how things go...

I just checked and Blathers and Mr. Resetti prices are starting to free fall, dropping a few cents every hour for the past few days. Blathers is under $9, and Resetti is around $7.

The new figures come out next week.

WM has Super Mario Maker + "Mario Modern Color 30th Anniversary Series" Amiibo bundled for $47. I believe that the game alone costs that much, making the Amiibo free?

1.Click here
2.Scroll down and locate "Buy Together & Save"
3.Click on "Add All to Cart"
4.Checkout

Free ship to store, or add a ~$3 filler item to get free ship to home.

BTW, the 8-bit modern Mario Amiibo in the offer shown above...

Might go well with this:

$10 (50% off) at Best Buy

I sort of want to get the classic colors 8-Bit Mario despite already having the modern colors version. Also wouldn't mind getting the Mega Man Legacy Collection with the gold Mega Man Amiibo but I might see if they release it separately. I don't have a 3DS yet anyways but am considering one at some point. The end of level display piece for the figures is pretty cool too.

I bought two of those a couple months back so I can make it more game-realistic.

The latest wave of Animal Crossing Amiibos have dropped to very low prices (~$4). I haven't seen any announcements for new ones, so maybe this is the end of them.

Target has about half or so of their amiibos on clearance. Ranging between 30% - 50% off. I picked up the Callie & Marie 2-Pack for about $15 yesterday. Between Disney Infinity and now this, can't be a good sign for the longevity for the "toys to life" scene.

Everywhere I go (Wal-Mart, Target, Best Buy, GameStop) all of the Animal Crossing Amiibos are marked down. Maybe Nintendo should have thought about making a true Animal Crossing game instead of the Amiibo Festival nonsense.

There are a few I'd still like to pick up so maybe I'll see if any of them are reduced next time I'm out and about. Are these pretty much done then or are stores just clearing out old stock?

Making something worthwhile would take time! Might as well just shit out an excuse to dump a bunch of Amiibo on a disinterested market instead.

Amiibo support is being patched into New Leaf, for what it's worth.

When I heard that, I almost couldn't believe it, that game came out in like 2012. I mean it's cool that they're doing it, but wow.

All the non Smash bros amiibos were overstocked, with the possible exception of Splatoon because it actually added to the game. But Mario Party, Animal Crossing, and now Kirby ones have always seemed plentiful.

I was at Best Buy today and they have a whole bin full of amiibos now. I was really surprised to see a couple Gold Mario amiibos in there, so I picked one up.

I hadn't bought any of these for a while but then I saw Boo was coming out and had to order one. Also finally picked up a Luigi today. I wouldn't mind getting the 8 Bit Link when it's out too.

I've only bought a handful, but the the only ones I still want to find are Rosalina and Little Mac. I wonder what the chances of finding one these says are. Nintendo shows a release date of tomorrow for Rosalina (I assume a wide release since she was formerly a Target exclusive).

That's a different Rosalina figure. The one coming out tomorrow is part of the Mario line, and the Target one was from the Super Smash Bros. line. Different poses, different color bases (black for Smash; red for Mario), and no Luma and no wand on the one that comes out tomorrow. The Target exclusive was one of the coolest looking Amiibo ever, and it's the only one I still think about importing even though I know I'd never really use it for anything.

So I was browsing Amazon and found these.

I knew about the end of level display but had no idea these were available too. I'm pretty tempted by the Donkey Kong and Castle displays.

How many versions was Mario Party WiiU released in? Target has a bunch of copies with the Bowser Amiibo packed in but that's one of the few ones we already have. Were there other bundles?

Mine came with Mario. I saw Yoshi bundles with non green Yoshis as well.

Note that the Mario Party bowser is different from the regular bowser (if nothing else you can tell by the red base).

I picked up all the new Zelda ones that came out on Friday. Totally forgot about it until Sunday and luckily one Best Buy had them for in store pickup.
