This is being released on the 23rd and was wondering if there's any interest in starting a DVD Talk group for online play. I enjoy this game even though my FIFA skills are not that great.

I'm getting this for the PS4.

Just played a match and got promptly whooped. I'm still getting used to the controls and combinations, etc. It is fun as hell, though.

I ended up just grabbing the standard edition. UT in NHL 15 takes up enough of my time as it is. I'm sure I will play UT mode though in Fifa 15.

I played another game in the Mexican league and was a lot of fun. There was an EA update that needed to be installed, as well. I also played the training simulation and that helped a lot. It's extremely daunting to look at the menus/features that are loaded up with the game. There's so many!

I was playing the starter tourney in Ultimate Team mode. It must be set on easy. I have Gareth Bale as my loan player and had 3 goals and 3 assists with him at the half. Subbed him out after that :lol: Rest of my team sucks though so its going to hurt when I lose him after his loan is up.

Goddamn this game is fun as hell! I switched the English audio and turned on the Spanish feed (Mexican Spanish) and it is off the hook! Granted, neither of the announcers are Mexican but the Spanish audio version is way better than the stale English one.

I'm playing the Mexican Cup and am Guadalajara Chivas. I've been mowing down my opponents - I scored 11 goals in one game. I have not messed with the settings at all, so I will assume that the default settings are set to easy. I will leave it at that for now.

I pre-ordered the ultimate edition from Amazon Canada back in June. Since I don't have Prime, I haven't even received a shipping notice. I will contact them today and find out about its status. I might not be able join you guys until next week :(

:thumbsup: I love using the Spanish audio, the announcer goes crazy when someone scores, "goal goal goal goal goal goaaaaaaaaalllllll!".
I actually imported the game from Italy this year so I could have the Italian audio, so I won't have my PS4 copy until next week.

No worries. I'm just messing around with the different modes. I'll still be spending way too much time in the auction house in FUT trying to put together a decent squad. By the time you're ready I'll still suck at the game ;)

Long rant:

Okay, got in touch with Amazon.ca via chat because on my order page is listed that this item will be shipping October 2nd to the 8th. I contacted Amazon and they told me that the reason for the delay was that the Ultimate Team Edition was sold out and need it to restock it. I told them that was unacceptable since I have this game pre-ordered since June when it first went live on their website. They just want it me to wait patiently until they got it. I wasn't going to do that and told them what's the point of pre-ordering if you can't even guarantee delivery of the item. I let them know that I wasn't happy. All of a sudden they found a copy of the game and will be delivering with a priority upgrade shipping for delivery on Tuesday, September 30th at the latest.

The worst part is that I have other games pre-ordered from them and I hope is not going to be like this for all of them. Here in Canada, right after the end of E3, Future Shop, Best Buy Canada and Amazon.ca had a E3 pre-order sale for the upcoming games which knocked off around $10 to $20 for each game. The UT edition will end up costing only $60 plus tax when it retails for $80 here. I should have gone with Best Buy like I did last year...

Wow, that's a raw deal for Canadians then. Glad they hooked you up on what you were already entitled to. I agree, what's the point of pre-ordering if you're not guaranteed a copy? That's the whole point!

Do you guys have GameStop in Canada?

I think that they are one and the same but they are called EB Games here not Gamestop.

Games prices are $70 for new PS4 releases so is easier to pre-order the games when they have this sale and cancel them if you are not interested. I got some games down to $50 to $55 each.
