That wasn't too bad last night once we had a Titan on each side for Vosik. We definitely would have taken him down if we had some more time. The main issue with that encounter is getting those adds down...and me not tripping over the railing on the way to the safe room. We should also make sure we have at least one Hunter with a tether next time. I can use smoke to grab the front bombs on my side so the adds shouldn't be an issue.

As for this week, I see the Cubs don't play Thursday night, so we can try and do a run that night if people are around. The games start this weekend at 8pm ET, so we could always do a run after they are over as well.

Had my best post game drop from crucible last night. I was at 395 and had a 399 auto rifle drop. That gets me to 396 on my warlock and 395 on the others. I also had a Ill Will drop with triple tap (meh), but then the combo of braced frame and LitC. It's definitely fun to use when you have a 1 in 5 chance of doing massive damage.

So are we running the Raid tonight? This is assuming Ice is finished air brushing a picture of Kyle Schwarber onto his Hopscotch Pilgrim in time.

Realizing that if you hate crucible (looking at you Scott), the only way to get decent armor and weapon drops is through the HM raid.

Finished it twice on Titan and Warlock this week. Quick ascension from 390 to 397 on Warlock and 396++ on Titan. Boots still holding me back, otherwise both would be at 398+.

399 Purifier Robes
392 Warlock Boots
400 Raid Hand Canon
399 Raid Hand Canon
396 Raid Pulse Rifle
398 Raid Sniper

Also got a couple of Exotic Helmet engrams that decoded at 396, a couple of Exotic Gauntlet engrams that decoded at 396-397 and a couple of Warlock bonds from The Forge at 399 and 398.

Forge and farming exotic engrams from 3oC can get you there as well if you aren't interested in the raid or crucible

That Vosik fight is brutal with regards to the adds. I'm just going to run my Warlock instead of my hunter since he has the Raid chest. That way I can grab the orb and bring it to the back without getting torn apart by the adds. I didn't die nearly as much the other night.

I mentioned this to Killer last night, but is anyone else interested in Trials tonight? I'd like to see if I could get that emblem. I know the Blackhawks game is on tonight, so Ice might not be on.

Can someone suggest where and how to farm exotics?

Play the game and always have a 3 of coins popped and ready to go. Run Strikes, Play Crucible. I dunno if there is true farming anymore. I always seem to have exotics pop for me every 3-5 coins that you use.

thanks...I thought there were some missions, strikes or storyline areas where you had a better chance than others than the typical one chance with 3oC's? I might have to try CoE since you essentially have three bosses for the price of one.

...speaking of which; so as Scott mentioned the drops in CoE are capped but leveling up Varkis still can net you above 385 gear...is that right? And I assume with Eris but she takes awhile and is even going to The Court even worthwhile unless you just need a bunch of engrams to decode?

Eris is pretty much worthless now. You can get the same items she gives out (Artifacts & class items) from the forge at higher levels than her packages can give out.

Did a couple of raids on the100. First run with Warlock went a long toime. Vosik of course took forever. Then it got late for most of them and we left off at the final part. Ended up getting Gloves, chest, an artifact, and the sidearm at 400.

Then I did a second fresh run on my Titan. We made it all the way through this one. Got the sniper, two machine guns, the ghost, the hand cannon and pulse all at 400.

After all that:

Finished the raid on my Warlock, and got a 400 Hand Cannon, 385 helmet and a 400 Nemesis Star. Not a bad haul.

Didn't finish the raid on my Titan, and got nothing, nothing and a nothing. Not a bad haul for not running the raid.

So...is there any interest in trying again tonight?

I'll be up for some raiding this week. The past few days were hectic with regards to Halloween parties and trick or treating with the kids. I was able to get a quick drop yesterday afternoon from crucible that got my Warlock to 397.
