story

Tried it last night for about 20 minutes. Combat is good. I like how simple and straightforward it is. Plus I thought it was funny that I intuitively knew which buttons did what: aim, fire, jump, reload, etc. Kind of a classic layout! Graphics are nice, and a nice sense of dread with going around corners and creatures popping up.

The leveling up component is not as simple. Walking around to the vendors and looking at what I could upgrade and trying to decide, I got confused. Looks like there will be a collecting and upgrading element to it that I'm not looking forward to, really. Feels like Borderlands 2, in that regard.

I liked Borderlands 2 for its great graphics fun story, and simple combat. But when I realized a major part of it was collecting stuff, my interest dropped pretty quick. It's weird, but I've been actively trying to shed life of stuff in real life that to collect virtual stuff just feels off. Well, Simpsons Tapped Out excluded!

Still, I'll keep giving it a shot. I'll let you know when I reach the point I can multiplayer.

Seriously, that is all it is. Replaying the same missions over and over and over trying to get shit to randomly drop, and then you get to play the missions over and over and over hoping the right materials pop up to upgrade them.

I do not regret my time playing with the Daggers. Met some really great people, and I had an absolute blast. There are times when I wish I hadn't fallen so far behind so I could hop in again, but the grinding is just so terrible. So terrible. I do not miss that part at all, and like I said, after you've played through it once that is all there is.

We miss your dancing slider. It's like there is a silence where you once were in the great land of Daggers. And with all the emotes in the game now, you could really express yourself in ways we could only imagine before.

I did get an exotic primary to drop from 3oC. I'll be holding on to that until after the 12th. I also think I'll sit on the 2 weekly IB bounties for my last two characters, as well as trials bounties the next 2 weeks that reward marks. That will be several hundred extra marks to play with on the 12th.

Got my second account Warlock to 5. Got a 317 helmet. Infused it to my 313 helm I already had. Titan hits 5 and gets a 313 Titan Mark. Oy.

If I strike out with my Titan today I'll be disappointed. Was at least hoping for some primary infusion fuel.

I've been using the doctrine almost exclusively this IB. Don't know why I wasn't crazy about it before, but the one I have with rangefinder just absolutely melts people.

314 scout was my final rank 5 reward

so basically my best drop IMO may have been a 288 HC only because it is the first HC I think I have ever received with Hidden Hand so I'm interested to try (also has Sureshot, Relentless Tracker, and Reinforced barrel for range)

I was rank 3 going into today and would usually play out and hold the many completed bounties I had till next time but it was an easy choice to turn them all in to level up to 5 as IB is hardly fun anymore (especially when Control) and more of a chore .... sick of rocking a highly positive k/d all the time and playing the zones while my teammates are almost always well under 1.0 and run around with no purpose

I had a bunch of matches this week with me leading in both kills and caps. I used to try and play a more moderate style, but I just rush like crazy now all match. Most people playing just aren't prepared for it.

It's pathetic how some people purposely ignore capping the zones to help their k/d and then at the end of the match you see stats like .40 k/d 1 capture

Main account drops. Warlock got a 319 Sidearm. Titan got a 315 Rocket Launcher with Tracking. Hunter got a 311 Pulse.

And unless they completely revamp crucible with the April update, I'm fucking done with it. It's just not worth the misery anymore. They took any kind of fun there used to be there and threw it away. I really can't see them fixing any of the huge fucking weapon inbalances that exist in the game now. When you can put headshot after headshot into someone and they can switch to a sniper and immediately 1 shot you, your game is broken.

When you can basically just spit out bullets forever regardless of your aim, and kill anyone not using the same kind of gun, your game is broken.

And if it's this easy to get snipes...your game is broken...



You'll also notice that none of my teammates came to assist me here.

It was a shame we couldn't get any Oryx runs in the past two nights. I signed up via the 100 for a Oryx CP CM tonight at 6pm ET. I'll report back with the results!

For anyone that may be interested, there are two spots left and its with Delta Company 91.

Close but no cigar. They had to pack it in after about an hour. We got taken out in the final shade twice and we also lost two people trying to keep the 4th knight from eating the final bomb.

Well, technically he got further with them than we did with the Daggers

LFG is a crapshoot, but the100 is a little more reliable, especially when you start recognizing the names and can pick and choose. But also, the later in the week you try, the less likely you are to complete it because the good players got it done earlier.
