I've been playing on PS4 and I think I'm on Chapter 5. Really like the game overall (Metro 2033). Is gun jamming/ misfiring a feature or am I just seeing a bug? My sniper rifle and assault rifle keep firing non stop, and my revolver keeps jamming. I have to hit the trigger four or five times for one shot.

I finished the first game and now I'm on to the second. I really recommend picking these up for PS4. They're pretty immersive, and they remind me of the fun I had when I first started playing the Splinter Cell games on the original Xbox.

Finished Last Light today and had a blast. Played through on hard and it was the perfect blend of challenge and difficulty. The second to last mission was a little frustrating because I ran out of health packs before the boss fight. But other than that it was a great ride. And the final fire fight was the perfect way to end the game. Looking forward to the sequel next year.

Enemies are mostly garden gnomes, who are high on PCP.

You are armed with only a banana.

Well, I've been playing. Did the option for more ammo, Spartan I think, but I'm in very beginning and no ammo at one point to fight beasties. Couldn't get passed before shut off. I died, a lot. It got a little frustrating. And tell me it doesn't ALL take place in the sewers?

Anyone with some tips or tricks to killing with no ammo. I think there is a melee, but that didn't do shit. I want to get into this...

C'mon dude, most of us finished this game THREE YEAR ago - I honestly don't remember jack shit about the technical gameplay. Just some of the story and the settings - that's it.

If you need help, I'm sure there are tons of walkthroughs on youtube.

Put the game on the easiest difficulty, choose the setting that you get the most drops for ammo and health, and then just play the damn game. It's fairly linear and even provides a compass that points you in the right direction. I used basically the three same modded guns the whole way through. A shotgun for close encounters, a pistol for medium, and an assault rifle with a scope for long range. I played through on hard difficulty, so yeah, the easy difficulty should be a breeze.

thanks, but really not looking for a breeze. want some challenge and difficulty, but thought there was a way to get passed the early goings...

It's only going to get more difficult as the game progresses. If you are having this many issues now, you won't stand a chance in some of the battles later.

I'm just thinking there is maybe something I'm not doing or a trick or something to get me by. If anything, I'll go down to easy, but tried to avoid. Do like the atmosphere and the killin which is why I want to stick with it and then the sequels. I did read about taking mostly headshots, but I'm so run and gun, it's hard. I'll see what happens. Thanks for the good, the bad and the ugly comments. Truly appreciate them all. Expect nothing less in this forum...

I just remember playing mostly stealthily, and not necessarily killing everyone in my way. I certainly don't recall issues with lack of ammo.
