Does anyone here have the iCade?
 

I am interested in getting this cool accessory for the iPad called the iCade which is a minature arcade cabinet that you can set your iPad in and play games with a joystick

I do - got it cheap a few years ago. It works fine, though it's better when you jailbreak your iPad and run the actual arcade games. The games that support it natively are not that good.

Yeah, i am very interested in jailbreaking my iPad 3, but I am a tech moron and terrified to try it. :p

Yes. Got one super cheap about a year ago. Works well. Buttons are very clicky. I actually ordered a new restricter for the joystick to make it a little easier to use for games that require a four way directional stick.

If you can find a way to get the app Gridlee on your device, it is basically a MAME emulator and works awesome with the icade.

well, i decided on getting this Moga MFI controller instead -- http://www.amazon.com/MOGA-Ace-Power...&keywords=moga

I have alot of games that are compatible with it. I got that Monster Hunter Freedom Unite game on iOS and it is supposed to work real well with this controller. Also I have a couple of the Modern Combat games that should work well. I just cannot get a handle on touch controls in an FPS

I may ask for the iCade at Christmas time :)
