I was trying to decide which Telltale series I could sit down and play with my wife. The only ones I've played through are Jurassic Park and Game of Thrones. Neither have been that great, so I probably wouldn't play through either with her, but didn't really know about the rest they offered. I've heard pretty good things about Walking Dead, but it sounds like that series might have grown a little stale by now as well. Any suggestions?

Wolf Among Us is my favorite, but i'm also a big fan of the Fables comic book series.

I never played the last two Walking Dead series (Michonne and the last season) but the first two seasons are really good. I feel like they've either been super cheap or given away on PSN or Xbox over the last year, so maybe you already have the first season to give it a go?

We borrowed the Batman one a while back and I literally left the room in the middle of the game out of boredom, but then my wife picked up the controller and finished it out and wanted to know if there was more.

And she enjoys geek stuff, but she's not a Bat-fan or anything, she just really got into that game.

Tales From The Borderslands and TWD Season 2 are my favs they've ever done.

I think I've ended up with a good chunk of them since they were free on one platform or the other over the years. Pretty sure I have two seasons of Walking Dead, Tales from the Boarderlands, Back to the Future and Wolf Among Us. That's why it's a little difficult to pick one

Ah cool, unless your wife isn't a fan of zombies I think playing Walking Dead 1 and 2 are probably the safest bets. The story for those are still excellent.

I like what I've seen of pretty much every TellTale game, but Sam & Max is the best by far.

Sam & Max is awesome for sure, but that's more point & click than the pick dialog choices and control your destiny that Telltale has become known more for.

I'd say Tales of the Borderlands but Wolf Among Us and Batman are also both excellent. I need to play Guardians of the Galaxy...and I'm not a zombie lover, so I never messed with TWD. The only one I didn't like very much I'm sad to say was Game of Thrones. I love the setting but the Telltale adaption did nothing for me.

I've played and beaten GoT, The Walking Dead Seasons 1,2, and Michonne, The Wolf Among Us, and Batman Season 1.

I'd say either Season 1 or 2 of TWD was the best

I would recommend Tales from the Borderlands. You play as two different characters at different points in the game, so each of you could make all the choices for one of the characters.

Tales From Monkey Island is awesome. Up to par with all the other Money Island games Lucasfilm has put out before the series switched to Telltale. It's not necessary to have played those games before the new one, but it certainly is a plus given the inside jokes littered throughout.

Tough question. Really liked Batman and TWD S1, but I think the Wolf Among Us was probably the best they've ever done. I really enjoyed it.

Since we have two seasons of Walking Dead, I think we'll start with that. If she likes those, we'll give Wolf Among Us a shot. Worse case if she drops off, I can still wrap it up.

Right before Christmas I played Guardians of the Galaxy. Started off a little slow for me, but I ended up really enjoying it. Of Telltale's current style of games, I'd rank it just below the three I posted above.

I voted for the Wolf Among Us. Telltale really botched Game of Thrones, the story wasn’t that great and it looks like it will follow the books, not in story, but we probably won’t see season 2 until 2020 at the earliest.

Does anyone else roll their eyes whenever you make a decision, and the text pops up saying “[Person you’re talking to] will remember that.” Some of those conversations barely even matter.

I think Wolf is the best Telltale has yet to do...just a perfect blend of story and setting...

Game of thrones is EASILY the worst they have done...
