Which comic book character do you want to see a game based on
 

Seems like we are in the golden age of comic book based video games thanks to the Arkham games. So which super hero would you like to see/ think deserves to be the next great super hero game?

My top five choices would be:

1.Superman(I want a real good Superman game!)

2. The Punisher(the first game on the PS2 and XBox was really underrated and deserved a sequel)

3. Green Arrow(This could be pretty fun)

4. Deathstroke(seems like he's made for a video game)

5. X-Men(we haven't had a good X-Men game since the second X-Men legends. They are due a return now).

A Dark Souls'ish Conan game.
Good Superman and Wonder Woman games.

Maggie and Hopey, just because I'd love to see someone figure out how to turn that into a game.

Serious answer: I'm a huge Spider-Man fan, though I haven't played any of the games since Shattered Dimensions. Are they any good?

Also, I'd love a Legion of Super-Heroes game.

The Punisher by Rocksteady would be a day one preorder. Can you imagine?

I also think it would be amazing to see a Wonder Woman origin story, starting with her as a young girl and her training into becoming what she is today.

Invincible would be pretty neat also, especially if it's as brutal as the comic.

A Legion of Super-Heroes MMO might actually get me to play one of those games.

Before they did Bioshock, Irrational Games did a real-time tactical superhero game called Freedom Force. I would love to see a LSH game along those lines, but with 2014 graphics.

Side-note: Freedom Force (and its sequel, Freedom Force vs. the Third Reich) is available on Steam. Well worth the $7.50 (each) it will cost you.

None of them. Comic books are already a toxic plague upon cinema, I'd rather the infection not spread to video games and suffocate originality there as well.

A next-gen Marvel Ultimate Alliance game would be awesome. I loved the first two MUA games.

Superman games have all kind of mountains to climb to be any good.

Taking out common thugs wouldn't be that big of a deal for him, which occupies a great deal of your time and gameplay in the Arkham games. I'm afraid the entire thing would be long boss battles and timed missions.

Getting the flying controls working to the point that they feel natural is an issue as well. Even if you get the flying controls perfect, the world would have to be massive since he can travel very fast.

That Punisher game could be pretty cool though.

I could see that game doing well if Telltale handled it. It would have to be the 'Life With Archie' spinoff.

Daredevil...I KNOW, I KNOW, He's blind (albeit w/radar sense). But I think the proper attention, it could be amazing. Or maybe do a Marvel Knights game where you play with Moon Knight, Punisher, Daredevil, Blade and so forth, that way the Daredevil sequences/levels are more special. That would probably work better. Yeah, let's go Marvel Knights.

Which is why he's never gotten a great game despite several tries. I think the best thing you could do with Superman in a videogame is send him into space.

Invincible would be great too.

No idea is too crazy if they're making a Guardians of the Galaxy movie!

Yes, because 4 to 5 comic book movies per year (look it up, that is how many comic book movies are made), is such a glut among the hundreds of movies that are released every year... -rolleyes-

The last Wolverine videogame was pretty fun, though that was based more off the movie versions of Wolverine than the comics. The game was very much a God of War clone, but it worked. But it'd be cool if they made one that's more over the top and more based off the craziness of the comics rather than the movies.
