Strangely enough I already have a replica mechanical claw from a Special Edition of a highly anticipated video game sequel on Pre-Order. Hard to justify buying another one.

I'm all set to download it tomorrow automatically on the PS4. Can't wait to play it once it unlocks Monday night.

A lot of shops have broken street-date, and many people have been playing it the last few days. There's at least 3 local shops I know that are selling it, and if I wasn't busy, I'd go get it now! Impressions are that it's good - it's JC2, with a fresh coat of paint. Main complaint seems to be load times, which I'm sure will be addressed with an update. Though the day-one patch is already 2-3 gigs.

Sounds like the Xbox One version has some serious issues. Looks like I'll be swapping my pre-order to the PS4 version as I don't need the JC2 download code since it was already the free game on the 360 a while back.

I'll probably buy it right away, but hold off playing it until there's a good patch that addresses most of these issues. I'm dick-deep in Fallout anyways.

Hearing of the problems is disheartening, but i am still picking it up today. Hopefully the patch will help. JC2 was one my favorite games of all time, and the game sounds like its more of the same. So i am still in. Just wish developers would actually take the time to finish a game before releasing it. I prefer for dates to be pushed back if it means getting the game working properly.

Was really looking forward to trying it last night only to find that it wouldn't unlock until 12:00 AM PT, three hours later than I was expecting. They used to always unlock preorders at Midnight Eastern. Really disappointed that they've changed that

TL,DW : The PS4 stays at 30 and the XO is mostly 30 but can dip to the mid-20s, I guess.

TL;DR: People are overreacting to slowdown and it's much more stable than some other titles, like Ryse.

I went with the PS4 version and played for just over an hour with no noticeable problems. Load times were in the 30 second range and graphics and frame rate were fine. Gameplay is classic Just Cause but with more toys and mayhem. I will likely kill many hours just farting around before I get back to the campaign such as it is. And driving still sucks so my preferred method of transport is parachute and grappling hook with a bit of wingsuit thrown in.

Picked it up tonight. Took a while to install. Controls are gonna take a little getting used to. Got the hang of it pretty good relatively quickly, but a little different than JC2. I remember that taking a little time to get the handle of. The game seems pretty great so far, no slow down really. However after only 20 mins of actual campaign the game crashed due to an error. I still don't have Internet in my house, so not downloaded the patch. Sure that will help. Anyone know if I can download the patch into a USB and update from that?
Game looks beautiful and blowing shit up is going to be great fun once again.

I did the digital version of this because I figure I'm gonna be playing Fallout 4 as well and this way I don't have to change discs. Lol.
