Should I start over with all the new changes?

Unless you want to bang Jaal I don't see a reason to start over.

They've made a lot of subtle changes to animations throughout the game, as well as some decent tweaks to the character creator (it's still restrictive) and a pretty thorough amount of bug work done. It won't be like playing a brand-new game, but it does have a lot more polish than it had at release. Personally, I really enjoyed Andromeda despite the flaws, but it's in a much better state now.

I re-made my character after the most recent changes - she looks a lot better, but there are still some instances during cutscenes and conversations where her facial animations look weird, though not nearly as bad as before. The eyes are a lot better, but the mouth needs more work.

I scrapped my save and decided to start over. Glad I did. I was nearly loathing this game the first go around. The weird animations were so distracting that I didn't pay enough attention to the story and got completely lost. I still can't figure out the whole research, blueprint design thing very well. I don't know why they had to make upgrading so complicated and not really fun.

I'm enjoying the game a lot more now. It looks much more polished. My main beef is the on screen text is really small and hard to read on my 40 inch tv.

Tried the free demo, played the first mission, uninstalled the demo.

Wow, I did not expect this game to be that bad.

Sounds like no single player DLC is planned, only MP. :(

Casey Hudson, who directed the original Mass Effect, is returning to Bioware to run the studio.

That's good news for the company, he was also on Anthem before leaving so hopefully he has a positive impact on that game right away.

I was extremely underwhelmed for about the first 25 hours of gameplay, too—the tutorial seems to go on forrrevvverrr—but I really enjoyed most of the remaining 85 hours I played. I grew to like characters I initially hated (Peebee) or were completely apathetic about (Vetra). Drack ended up being my favorite krogan from any Mass Effect game. Liam, Cora, and the kett are still incredibly uninteresting, though.

Like all Bioware games, once you hit a certain level (maybe 25-35), none of the combat is challenging on Insanity. But given how incredibly difficult it was early on (because I kept trying to tackle things I was under-leveled for), I was OK with it. Once I was not constantly hiding from everything in order to survive, combat became really fun.

It was definitely the least-good of the four games, but overall it's a pretty good combat game set in a so-so setting with a handful of really great missions and a couple of stand-out characters. I'm fine without DLC, but I would like to see a sequel. Just make it a bit more daring the next time.

Bioware confirmed no more single player updates or DLC.

If you want the story of the Quarian Ark that was teased, buy the comic book or novel it will show up in.

Price has dropped, is this worth $20?

Based on what I played, the answer would be an emphatic NO

Wow, so I guess that wraps it up game wise.

It was worth $60 to me. I got 50 or so hours of enjoyment out of it. Definitely my least favorite ME game but still a very good game.

Yeah, at $20 it is a no brainer. Is it as good as previous series? Nope. But it's still halfway decent.

Yeah, I snagged this one for $20 and that actually included the steelbook so I was happy with that (people seem to be dumping this one). Did you feel like you needed a guide for this game? My semi-local (not the closest, but the second closest) Half Price Books has a couple copies of the hardback guide but I passed on it. The older guides for the first three games were actually pretty useful but wasn't sure on this one.

Hey dumb ass, stop buying games at full price that you don't get around to playing right away! Especially if they suck ass and the price drops like a rock!! I don't care if they come with a fancy steelbook or not, don't buy it!!!

The deluxe edition is now under $20 on Amazon. This is now my biggest purchase mistake of the year. I would have never guessed this big of a price drop that fast.

Price is absolutely plummeting. I just bought this for $17 last week and thought that was the lowest it'll go!

The origin store is still charging $51.99 (I am guessing Canadian dollars) they don't seem to accept the fact that it is not worth that much money.

I want to get it, but hoping BB will drastically lower it also so I can get the steelbook they give.

im confused about the inventory management in this game.
you only get 50 slots.
when u pick up items like weapons and armour, is there a way to store them in a locker for the ones you don't use before heading out to explore?
