Oh, that could be good. I would like a quick swipe to go straight to the map.

Does that mean you don't have to go into the menu to switch them out, you can just swipe whatever direction on the fly?

Well i am still holding off on ending the game and completing all the side quests. I got myself into a tight spot last night when i ventured into a cave and ran past a series of Ghost Warriors only to find my path at the end blocked. The problem was that trying to leave meant i had to climb up at certain points, and when you enter into combat this is impossible. So i had to fight my way back through 5 level 31 Ghost Warriors, whilst i am only level 24. Took a bit of doing, but managed to make it out. Pissed me off that i could not run passed them and climb.....not enough distance to stop combat from happening.

Finally got my all my Wolf School gear fully upgraded to "Superior".
It's the best gear in the game, and being that Geralt is from the Wolf School of Witchers, the most appropriate as well.
It looks pretty good when upgraded too (far right):
[size]
It was fun finding and upgrading the gear, but I don't think I want to do it with the other Witcher gears, mostly because it takes up too much time, and they're not as good as the Wolf gear.
I only have a few main quests left until I wrap this up - but I wanna take my time and drag it out as long as I can. I've uncovered most of Novigrad/Velen, but still have a lot question marks littering Skellige. While looking for the Wolf Gear, I uncovered a lot of stuff throughout Kaer Morhen that I didn't know existed because it doesn't have any bulletin boards to mark locations, so the only way to find stuff there is to just explore.

Finally finished (I started late because I needed to blow through W2).
Stats: almost 75 hours, level 36, all Wolven gear Masterclassed.
Some question marks still left, mostly in the waters of Skellige, so nothing major. Played almost no Gwent.
Got the ending I wanted (I'm assuming this is all canon):
I kinda wanna say game of the decade...?
Can't wait for the next Witcher game, starring
But first, two big DLCs, right? Since the first one is hitting this fall, was there any info at E3 about it?

I have this for PS4, but it seems like the loading is getting worse. Is this just happening to me?
For example I will run towards a character I need to speak to for a quest, but I have to wait 10-15 seconds before I even have the option to talk to them. Sometimes their appearance isn't even fully generated. And as I progress further graphical glitches are becoming more frequent. For example, I have run into a pub, and it's like I'm outside until all the wall textures load. This has happened a few times already.

This sucks. I have also had it crash back to the dashboard at least 4 times. I'm currently at level 21.

I still love the game, but the only thing that worries me is that this issue with loading assets seems to be getting worse the further along into the game I'm getting. I didn't have this issue when I first started playing.

I've only noticed a difference in loading depending on the area you're in that needed to be loaded. For example, Kaer Morhen loads a lot quicker than than Novigrad.

That's true. The majority of the texture loading issues occurred in Novigrad.

I didn't keep track of the number of crashes on my PS4, but I bet it happened somewhere around 12 to 15 times. I do use suspend/resume, though, so maybe that had something to do with it.

Patch 1.07 coming
As some of you may know, we are finishing up work on our next big patch, Patch 1.07. It’s a very large update introducing some key changes, including:
A new, alternative (optional) movement response mode for Geralt.
A player stash for storing items, available in various locations throughout the game. Stash locations are marked on the player's map.
Crafting and alchemy components no longer add to the overall inventory weight.
Books are now placed in a dedicated tab in the Inventory and books that have already been read are properly grayed out.
Multiple sorting options are now available in the Inventory.
Alchemy formulas and crafting diagrams can be "pinned", meaning all components and ingredients required to make them will be conveniently marked in the Shop panel.
Dozens of fixes for quest related issues, both major and minor.
A few performance enhancements, including the optimization of FX, scenes and general gameplay.
Various improvements to horse behavior.
Since it's been all hands on deck working to finish and release this patch on time, we won’t be publishing a free DLC this week (don’t worry - free content comes back next week). We hope you understand our decision. We’ve gathered so much feedback from you over the past couple of weeks and we want to implement as much of it as possible. The full change list for the patch 1.07 will be coming later this week. Stay tuned for info about the release of the update itself.

Re: The Witcher 3 - May 19, 2015 - PS4, XBO, PC
I enjoyed my time with Witcher 3 a lot...but honestly some of these patch notes from the last few patches make so much sense, I wonder if I should just hold off in the future on open world games like this until a few patches come...
Then again, my enjoyment with the game was not really influenced in any way from something like extra storage or a book tab, but it would not have hurt...

Oh man, I'm about to stop playing until that patch hits. It addresses so many of my minor complains about this game.
It boggles my mind that this game didn't ship with a storage option. I have to constantly run back to vendors to sell excess crap, and they never have enough cash for all my sweet loot.

I am liking what I am reading in the patch notes, it is if the company is reading what the players are complaining about on forums and working to address the issues.
