Steam In-Home Streaming
 

Has anyone gotten this to work?

It just went into open beta the other day. It lets you stream games between any 2 computers on your local network. The client computers can even be Mac or Linux!

I guess use cases are something like:

Stream from your gaming pc to your laptop while in bed
..................................... to your HTPC to play on your TV

I'm not having any luck getting it going (the 2 computers don't see each other) but other people say it works pretty well on a fast network.

Works well here, if I didn't already have a wireless hdmi solution this would be incredible.
