Played a match, pretty fucking awesome. It's so fast and smooth! Sprinting and aiming with LT on every weapon was a much needed addition. I'm sure ill hate the MP when it launches and I get destroyed, but for now it's pretty fantastic.

Preorders are up on Best Buy as well. Figured grabbing the LE for $79.99 would be a safe bet. Don't know how I would feel dropping $200 on the statue version after getting burned on the Destiny Ghost Edition.

I played a couple matches last night and this is exactly how I feel, which isn't a good thing to me. Everything from looking down sights, to jumping and lifting yourself up onto a ledge, to running and sliding was copied from COD, but it doesn't do it nearly as good as Advanced Warfare does. They should of just stuck with what worked best for Halo.
And for the life of me, I can't get used to the triggers on the XB1 controller. The softness is just throwing me off. You also have to press the bumpers down harder, which fucked me a couple times trying to toss grenades.

At this point, I'll probably pick Halo 5 up at launch, throw it up on eBay, and beat the campaign before I ship it out.
I played all three "weeks" of the beta and it was all disappointing. Between the debacle the MCC has been (and still is because the game breaks more every time 343i updates it) and how lackluster this beta has been, I feel as if I'm over the franchise. Any goodwill has been lost.
The evolution of how the game plays is something that should've happened at Halo 4 which tried too hard to be a Call of Duty knock off, but the lack of map design is awful. All the maps featured in Slayer had the same, exact layout. The only thing different were the textures. No map had its own unique strategy, they were literally the same map week after week. If that's how the final multiplayer maps turn out, multiplayer will die quickly. I will say that the maps in Breakout mode would've looked cool... if I didn't play the War Games DLC map in Titanfall.
