Am I reading it right that the co-op part is pretty much unlimited as to what you can do and go? ALl I see is a reference to "drop-in & drop-out". Is there a co-op campaign?

I played on 360 and never noticed it either, and had a blast the entire time. I guess that's one advantage of having a non-PC-master-race-trained eye.

I am not as anal as neogaf when it comes to games. 30 fps is fine to me. I worry more about screen tearing and frame dips. I enjoyed Far Cry 3, but it sort of gave me a headache during long play sessions.
That being said, games like Wolfenstein will spoil you with its 60 fps.

Meet Far Cry 4 protagonist Ajay Ghale: Kyrat native, devoted son, and Pagan Min's guest of honor.

Hopefully less of a horrible douche than the FC3 protagonist.

I am picking this up, but things I hope for in this game.
1: The ability to skip cut scenes. Far Cry 3 did not allow it. I would have enjoyed 3 more if I could have skipped them.
2: NO FUCKING KNOCKING ME OUT 8 TIMES IN ONE GAME WHEN I OPEN A DOOR OR WALK THROUGH ONE

Looks beautiful, but I'm not thrilled about the return of the 'spiritual' stages. All the weird psychedelic crap was the only thing I really disliked in FC3. Those sections were a chore to get through.

I've never played a Far Cry. I always understood that they ran kind of poorly on last gen consoles.
This one definitely has my attention as something I might not buy at launch but will probably pick up later.

Wait, now I remember, FC2 was free on Plus, I played just a little bit, and it ran fine. That was after FC3, so I wasn't that interested in FC2.
I also played Blood Dragon in the Xbox 360 and it played fine. I missed all the eye candy from the PC port, but other than that no issues.
No sure about FC1. But maybe the full game was never ported to consoles.
