In addition, if you spend $100 in the PSN store in October before 10/27, you'll get $15 in credit back on 11/7. This game will take you half-way there

There's a bunch of bad reviews out, but a lot of stupid shit going on in them. Bitching about no rewind, not being open world, etc. Good thing everyone with PS+ will have a great demo so they can form their own conclusions.

I think the two biggest flaws are the lack of customization and no weather. They are definitely adding weather later, and hopefully customization and modding as well.

It's funny though how much stuff is missing or clearly needs work. How the hell were they thinking they were going to release this a year ago?

Also... no mechanical damage... wtf. Apparently the AI rubberbands as well, that's pretty ridiculous in any racer that isn't a flat out arcade style game, and even then it's bullshit.

Luckily, most people will have a demo and can draw their own conclusions about how fun it is, and it's kind of nice to see gaming journalists in their last throes of relevance. Complaints about AI seem legit though. That is irritating, and while it made sense in a game like Motorstorm, it looks out of place here.

Still can't wait to check it out but will probably stick with Rivals.

Yeah, it's really odd how much nitpicking is going on with reviews of this game. I'm sure if Forza Horizon 2 didn't just come out, they wouldn't be nearly as harsh.

I have a feeling that they will get rid of the AI rubberbanding after all the complaints.

I don't really see how this game compares to a NFS game at all, it's much more sim than NFS, not that that says much, but still. This game actually seems more comparable to Forza than I originally thought it would... more like a cross between Forza and PGR.

Kind of weak that there will only be a single new location in almost a years time. It'd be nice if they would add some real tracks too.

Of course Forza 5 has added one new track in a year, and it doesn't even incorporate into the career mode.

I've come to the conclusion most of the reviewers are pro-Xbox on about anything out there. They praised Titanfall as one of the best games out there and put Forza as the standard for all racing games. PS4 exclusives like Infamous:Second Son and Driveclub have been torched. It hasn't even been 24hrs and it's almost sickening to read what's being said.
