I was trying to think of a worse launch for a game, and I'm struggling to think of one. Even Duke Nukem was a functional game.

At this point the only thing Driveclub is "missing" is weather, replay, and picture mode, all of which will be added before the end of the year.

I disagree with this. Yes, BF4 has netcode issues (dying behind cover, rubber banding, etc) but it's hardly broken. It's very much playable and enjoyable. The people that complain about it in its current state are truly nit-picking, IMO. It also has 64-person multiplayer which no other game on the current consoles even comes remotely close to.

I did, but it was a gift for my wife (so I get to play it too!), and I paid for $45 of it through Reward Zone certificates.

I ended up canceling it since I didn't know what I'd do with $50 of Kmart credit and just thought I'd upgrade the digital version from the trial version using discounted PSN credit from Target instead. Little did I know....

Did they give out numbers as to how many are connecting now? I wonder if, once they (think they) fix the issue, if there's not a surge of users who have not been trying to log in because of all these problems.
I dunno, I didn't buy the game, I think I would have returned it already if I did. Would they offer a refund if you bought it digitally and don't want it anymore? They should.

Glad I cancelled my preorder. Sounds like a decent game, but until they get the kinks worked out, I won't buy it, and I'd rather try it via PS+ first, whenever that might be.
