Anybody else picking this up today?

Yes. Although I will get the downloadable version, which I think comes out tomorrow?

I'm getting the disc version, but only because of the Best Buy Unlocked discount. Otherwise I would've waited for the downloadable version.

Does unlock not work for download codes yet?

I think it's today for Sony, tomorrow for Microsoft.

Good question. I didn't know, so I checked their TOS:

"Unlocked Membership benefits include: (a) 20% off new Video Game software (excluding digital downloads)"

So it looks like the answer is no, at least for now.

I've never heard of this but that trailer looked awesome. What type of game is this? Racing?

2D motocross racing/stunts game, rendered in a 3D environment. There have been several entries in the series, including a couple very popular ones on the 360 (Trials HD and Trials Evolution).

I am dowloading the fuck out of this when I get home - I played the shit out of the previous 2 - that is, until they got way too hard.

If anything, it plays more like a 2D platformer more than anything else, you just happen to be on a bike.

I read that there is something like 500 million combinations of possible maps. I've never played but this looks like a lot of fun... if only it was made by somebody other than Ubisoft I'd be all over this. Instead I'll wait for it to be $20 in two weeks.

Bought this for the PS4 since I had left over credit.

Surprisingly nice visuals and oh so very silky smooth.

Some observations:

1) Seems to be a port of the PC version, there are some really random texture pop-in issues that make no sense
2) With #1, they definitely rushed this as there are some inexplicable sections of load times.
3) Still fun

I am unable to connect to uplay on the PS4 version.

I didn't try to connect to uplay, but it seemed to do so automatically.

Is anyone getting this on the 360? If so can i add you? Not so much to play together i would just like scores to try and beat.

FWIW, PS4 1080p, XB1 900p.

Day one patches on both, which seems odd for a downloadable game.

You can buy it on disc too

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=ATVPDKIKX0DER

What really sucks is the PS4/XB1 versions are $40. PC version is $20.

Does the PC version also come bundled with the season pass?

PC, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and Xbox One versions are $20.

The "Deluxe" version that comes with the season pass is $40 on all platforms including PC. This is the version that's on disc.

Regular Edition:
https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwo...IALSFUSION0001

Deluxe Edition:
https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwo...00000000000303

The Season Pass is $20, so I bought the basic version on the PS4 and will get the season pass if it ever goes on sale.

I have to assume the Xbox One version being 900p comes from the levels will a million moving parts and sustaining a fluid frame rate on them. Not that it can't do it, but it's obviously more complicated on the platform.

Via digital download? The link to Amazon still shows $40.

Yeah, the retail disc version is the game + season pass.

Enjoying the X1 version quite a bit. None of the online stuff (Ubisoft servers, leaderboards, user-created levels, etc.) was working last night or this morning.

I really like the three optional objectives for each course. Some are ridiculously tough, even on the earlier levels. I spent an hour on one challenge - nudge a "Fusion ball" through the entire course and have it pass the goal line - before I finally gave up for the night. I came really close a few times, but the Fusion ball has somewhat unpredictable physics which kept screwing me up.

The $20 version of the game seems to have a lot less content than the last Trials game. I suppose that's how these things go.

Chalk up another purchase thanks to the PS4 streaming feature. I watched a bunch of people play this yesterday and it looked fun so I downloaded it this morning.

Loving this game so far. I've never played a Trials game before so it's all new to me. My girlfriend even likes it. She keeps asking for the controller so she can try some of the levels. That's NEVER happened before.
