If you have a fully covered Ares and a 5/5/3 OBW you will be just fine. I've defeated nearly every non 4* combo possible with those two and my Steve rogers even before I had him fully covered.

Wait how is your lthor covered? As long as you have mainly yellow/green and not red (his red kinda sucks comparatively).

Lthor is 1/5/4. SO I guess I will level him to 130. Eventually I will get a red cover from daily reward, and from deadpool event.

Yeah 1/5/4 is definitely something to level, since he's well on his way to being ideally covered.

I really hope the dead pool events are helping new players. I haven't been able to use most of the covers so far but it's very generous.

The deadpool thing is great if only for 3500 iso if you have the daily cover. I had a huge hot streak with the tokens, and finished off my spidey and actually got 4 Gamora greens last week.

I really lucked out in my PVE grouping, since I have Hood, I have finished top 50 or better in each sub event netting 50HP each as well as a token (no luck with them though). I am also holding steady between 15-25 overall and will get 2 Iron Fist covers and I am 2500 pts away from the yellow hood cover.

I've been playing for awhile, and it's helping me a ton with my 2 to 3* transition since I've never cared for spending a lot of time in PVP grinding for covers.

got the daken cover today. on 3 consecutive heroic coins i got a green blade, a purple dr. doom and a green storm. i needed each of those. that was a good run there.

I've been banking ISO & HP for the past 3 weeks and am probably a week or less away from the 5k HP and 425k ISO I'll need to take X-force to 13 covers and level 270. I'm hoping that gives me a temporary bump in being competitive, similar to how it felt to get my first two fully leveled 3*s, but it'll probably just mean seeing a lot more teams with multiple maxed 4*s.

I have been a fan of the daily Deadpool events. I wish those had been around when I transitioned to 3*, as it would've made it a lot easier.

As long as you're X-Force is 5/5/3, it'll make you competitive; you can still take down 4* combos handily, you'll just face retribution if you don't shield. And you'll be able to reach the 1000 mark to try to get more 4* Thors as well.

The problem is that it may screw up PvE if you take him that high. I've been keeping him around 180 because of that.

Grr... I really need any ldaken cover EXCEPT purple.

You will get attacked a lot less in PVP running a 270 Xforce. Pretty much any decent team can beat any other team in PVP. It's just a question of if you need to boost and how much damage you will take. Most 2 and 3* teams will get pummeld by xforce or lose without boosting, so you will get skipped a lot with points as high as 650-700. That and the fact that xforce is really fun to play with make him a very worthy use of HP and ISO.

The other benefit to a lower leveled x-force, though, is that teams actually challenge you, and one good board cascade will give you the win. Plus it takes a ton of ISO to level to 270, depending on your roster you may want to invest elsewhere once your x-force is over 170 or so (and I think Hulk takes green over X-force to around lvl 200 or so).

Yeah, I currently skip just about any team with a 270 Xforce, so I figure having one will cause others to do the same. I could use the ISO & HP to max another 6-7 of my 3*s, but I've already got 9 maxed, so Xforce is more appealing. I've got the ISO now and just need 75 more HP, which I should get from the Deadpool PVE.

On a side note, it's crazy what a rip-off ISO is for those who pay for it, assuming anyone does. With ~430k banked, I've easily got the most I've ever had at once. Out of curiosity, I checked to see how much real money it's 'worth' and was surprised to see it'd cost over $500. Too bad there's no marketplace to sell what you've earned.

Yeah, buying ISO is a rip off (unfortunately I found this out too late, in my eagerness to level some of my guys early on).

On a side note, I guess my alliance disbanded. I know dvdtalkers is full, any other forum members belong to an alliance that is recruiting?

Yeah, yeah, I know. Still, got a bunch of covers and stuff I wouldn't otherwise have gotten. The main thing is the constant pressure to do well on PvP. I can't imagine being in an alliance with high minimums for both PvE and PvP.

I'm sorry about the Alliance disbanding. My new alliance has a bunch of different groups. I think that you might fit well into one of them if you are active. Search the offical forums for The Best in the Alliance forum.

Got the last HP I needed for Xforce and maxed him this morning. Took him and two maxed 3*s into the current PVP and nearly lost to a team with no one over level 100, thanks to ridiculous cascades that gave the other team exactly the AP they needed to clobber me. I will say, having Xforce maxed really makes me want to get Iron Fist covered and powered up as quickly as possible. His purple is a badass complementary power.

Pickings have been slim for me for a couple weeks now. I snagged my 500 point 3* Human Torch from the PvP and every Daily Deadpool token since day one. Last week I sold two, thias week I will sell a couple too. Besides that I have only bagged one 3* from the Tacos and that was a Loki black, my 4th. 4/5/0. I had 250 Hero Points from another taco, found a 3* Luke cage black in a Deadpool vs MPQ token 2/0/2 and I'm right in the middle of my three days of Devil Dinosaur but other than that I've opened close to 60 tokens and got nothing but iso.

EDIT: It seems like my luck shifted the day I raised my Hood to level 142. He was my 8th character over level 100. I stll only have two 3* characters fully covered.

Holy shit is the final hard simulator node ridiculous. Maxed Iron Fist and Luke Cage are brutal together.
