I didn't bother. WAY too much grinding compared to a PVP event. I think I'm done with PVE in general, besides trying to possibly get some of the progression rewards. PVP rewards are much better for way less grinding.

On the PVE, I ground every node to zero once every morning and once every night on Saturday, Sunday & Monday. I got up to first place every time I did. Last night, I went to bed a little over an hour before the event ended and was 2nd. Woke up to top 150. I'm getting fatigue on this BS.

I guess I had an easier bracket this time. Ended up squeezing in at 20th place.

Yeah, it has more to do with timing at the end of the event than grinding throughout. You do want to at least play during the event to stay relevant in case the nodes hit a max value, as they appeared to this time (2,000 on the final/essential nodes).

I ended up at #10 by the skin of my teeth and the alliance landed on #95 so I got 4 Beast covers. Not sure he's worth dumping ISO into, at least not yet.

Yeah, I know. Just messing with you. I honestly can't imagine playing any more than I already do, it's already excessive, :lol:.

They need to add some different gameplay types to change things up a bit.

I would like to get into the alliance and contribute a little. I play sporadically. Does any little bit help the alliance or would a member not playing every day drag down some percentage somewhere?

There's 3 open spots, you can definitely join. Our alliance is just casual and doesn't try to be really competitive.

They should do a trade in program where you could swap 10 standard cards for a heroic card and 10 heroic cards for a 3* card. it would give us casual players something to work for

But yeah, if you just want some extra stuff to get you started, join the alliance... I don't think we'll ever be hardcore enough to go for the top rewards, but anything extra is helpful.

I was only half joking. Really the progression rewards if you play just one match every day get pretty good (though obviously you have to have roster spots open).

Of course, my next progression reward is yet another purple Daredevil cover (my 10th).

Yay, no Beast, so I'm fucked for the new PVE, like usual. Hopefully be able to get one in the PVP event, but by then I'll stand no chance in ranking decently in the PVE.

At this point I only grind when there is a new character out, otherwise I don't spend a whole lot of time on the same PvE or PvP events. It's like i'm burnt out, but can't resist a shiny new character.

I tried grinding for it, but between not getting any time the final day, and the lead up to it of needing what already seemed to be a ridiculous amount of points to place high enough, I gave up. I think I would of had to of had well over 40k points before going into the final day to be high enough to get a cover, I can't imagine what it looked like in the final hours.
