You guys getting Bag Man can at least sell him for 250 ISO. I'm on what feels like an endless streak of Yelenas and Hawkeyes. On the bright side, with all the crap covers, I've saved up about 15k ISO, so when I do get someone I want, I'll be able to level them pretty quickly.

I read the progression guide over at the official game forums however I'm torn between doing the Prologue, Simulator (pve) or Season 1 (pvp) missions. I don't know which is best for me to focus on first.

I'm up to the Venom missions in Prologue, do fairly well in the Simulator missions and don't last very long in pvp but can rack up about 200-300 points before I hit red opponents. I like the Simulator missions because I get to use boosted heroes (if I have them), it seems like I'm racking up the ISO's, and getting Heroic covers faster than in Prologue. And pvp has some good rewards I could try for too. However, both of those take me away from finishing up the Prologue.

What do you recommend? Just suck it up and focus on finishing the Prologue and getting all of those rewards like the 2* Storm Classic?

Also, I'm reluctant to spend ISOs on heroes I won't be using in my regular rotation. I know IM M35 is really good so I will bump him to 40 or 50. BW and S have served me well so far leaving them at 20 and 15.

Oh, I meant that when I get all excited for that silver shield icon from a one star pull, it's a bagman letdown. Trust me, I get my fair share of hawkeyes/yelena/venom (I burned through five of them because of the Patch comment earlier, and nothing). And on two star pulls it's always thor/non-green storm (took me forever to get five greens)

Just trimmed by roster from 37 characters to 28 and now I feel sick. I just know they're going to have a 1 star tournament any day now and I won't be able to join the fun.

i've considered getting rid of a few characters i never use, but the only 1 star i have is iron man. i've sold off all my other ones. i don't mind missing a 1 star tourney.

I'm about done putting effort into the PVP events. I just spent 30 minutes on the Punisher one and won 9 games pretty easily. If I'd gotten all of the points, I would've been somewhere in the top 5 for my group, maybe as high as 3. Instead, I was attacked during every battle but 2 and either lost points or only made gains in the single digits. Then I went to check updated rankings and see how far out of the top 10 I was and got attacked 3 times within however long that took, maybe 30 seconds, losing another 54 points. Is there a strategy for these to avoid that kind of nonsense? Do the leaders just play in the middle of the night while no one else is on and then lock in their scores while they're high?

Edited to add: In the five minutes since I stopped playing, checked my email and then posted this, I was attacked and lost 94 more points, all to players in the 600 range of rankings. Just a crock of shit. Went from the 20s to 14 to 44 over the whole ordeal. If the software opens you up to be attacked because you're actively playing, I might as well just play the first day and then be done with the event.

i never get attacked that much.

i usually either build up a huge score, then shield myself. or i wait until about 2 hours before the event ends. i'll play a bunch, get into top 50 for sure, then shield myself. i rarely get out of the top 50 when i do that.

i just made my run in the punisher event. up to 766. just did a shield. i the hour that i played it, i went from 300 to 766, i didn't get attacked once. that should be good enough to keep us top 500 in the event.

I guess deftones u r very lucky then. I saw max going high n dropping low on and off. Same for me too. Play till last health point, when back after 3 hrs the very first pop window is minus 80-130 all the time.

I was hopping to win Loki at 300 points award. But got a shitty thor which in past I wasted over 20-25 cards. Now finally thought to build that anyways. Not sure if I get that again. I noticed one thing. As soon u add a card to roster u won't win that often again.

After reading a few posts from u guys not sure if I was wise to spend all coins I won on card spaces. Probably shud have gone for 10 pack luck.

Came home and played my way back up to just over 600. Went to dinner with the wife. Back down to 441. Fuck their matchmaking.

you must be in an active group. since my last post, i've only been attacked once; they lost and i gained points.

i'm up to 28 right now. if i stay there about 10 minutes before it ends, i may cancel my shield and try to get top 25 for that extra 1000 iso.

I BTW found a loop hole :-). For PvP matches. Before u begin the game keep loosing on all three slots at least once with the most shitty cards u have. Enter the game and retreat. U will stay at zero but next player given to u will be with the least powerful cards and more points.
This way u get to play 100 points in just may be 3 rounds.

Secondly when u get attacked don't play back for at least 10-12 hours. Again when u play back then loose again on 3 slots similar way u get less strong players to compete with more rewarding points. Now when u already have points and on loosong/retreat u will loose points. Trust me its worth it as even if u loose next 2-3 matches u will earn at least double what u lost.

Unfortunately this u can do only 2wice in the 2 days PvP match

This worked so far every time I have played. Like today just with 5 health pack I went 300 within 40-45 mins. Additional i used 10%x5 on each boost slots for all colors to finish opponent quickly with least beating.

you can really tell the difference between these pvp events. the falcon one, nobody had a powered up falcon since he was a new character, so it was all about how good your other characters were. was much easier to get a higher score since everyone was pretty much on an even playing field w/ that required character. in this punisher one, many people have powered up punishers. i've dropped to 40 as of this moment. the top guy in mine has 1313 points and i'm in the mid 700's. hopefully i can hold out top 50 so i do not have to break my shield.

It looks like I've hit the wall on SHIELD PvP. All my opponents are Level 85-120, and my top guys are Level 40-45. I've wasted about 150 ISO skipping to find a suitable opponent, but haven't had any luck.

first time i have paid for a 5 pack of health. i was about 400 up in 1st in the hard simulator. people were coming up behind. so i paid 200 coins for it. i was able to get about 1000 ahead as of right now. i should get 1st or 2nd at the worst. so that 200 coins i lost, i gain back 100 and i get 3 highly trained tokens. i figured for 100 coins, that's a good trade off, especially if i get at least one valuable one i need.

I also pulled off top prize in that last round of hard simulator. My Loki is pretty much useless (lowest level, Trickery only) but he was the ticket to the higher-paying / lower-level battles.

so i did finish top 2 and top 50 in the other. got 4 highly trained coins. i got:

red ares (maxed, gonna sell)
purple bagman (don't have, gonna sell)
green rags (he's only on 4th slot, this will max his green)
purple loki (on 4th slot, this will max his purple)

so 2 characters i needed, one of which is the event right now. boom. worked perfectly.
