In the last week I've pulled two 3* Deadpool purples, one from DDQ one from 1200 point simulator prize to get him to 5/5/3 where I wanted him and I pulled my last 3* blue hood from the Thor pvp to get him 5/5/3. Also got an Iron Fist black from the Hood pvp. Jumped into a bracket with an hour 45 left and finished top 100. If I can get 800 points my fist will be 2/1/3.

Is it just me, or is the new layout a bit ugly? I'm not liking the new large icons.

Yea, the whole look is bad. The icons look like shitty low-res jpegs that were blown up too large.

Yeah, the new layout is lame, but it looks like they added some new characters. I pulled a one-star Spider-Man this morning, which I'd never seen before. Also hit my season 10-pack and ended up pulling a bunch of 4*s (Kingpin, Electra, Starlord, Professor X), though none of them put me even close to being able to use any of those characters. I've been playing way more casually. Maybe 10 minutes in the morning for the Deadpool daily and 15-20 at night if the wife is watching something on TV that I'm not interested in. I really only put any time in if there's a doable progression reward and have pretty much given up on winning event prizes.

spent 800hp on roster slot for Deadpool, 225hp on shields and 200hp on daily tokens, won back 50 for placement, 100 from EOTS so far, opened 20 tokens in Taco vault trying for an Iron Fist (nope) and pulled 500hp there so I have been having great luck. Tried to get to 1300 to pull my first Jean Grey but no luck. Started getting my butt kicked quick. Since I snagged Carnage and DP I'm back to missing only Kingpin and Jean Grey. Going to hopefully get a 4* Falcon America so I have an unbroken chain going again.

Been having tremendous luck with event tokens! Currently in 7th place with less than 15 hours to go in my slice, looking to get top 10 and three Falcon America covers.

I pulled it off! Got my Kamala respecd to 3/5/5 by winning the 800 point green cover and used The Hood and Magneto. 7th time I've pulled off a 1000 point PvP prize and this was the toughest.

5 Star Silver Surfer has been announced

Looks like 4*'s are going to be the norm now.

Good to see that there's an opportunity every 5 days for a 4* in DDQ, although I wonder how do-able the "challenging face-off mission" will be. Sounds like you will have to use a selected 4* in a 1 on 1 match, so if you don't have them decently covered, you're likely screwed.

I assume if you don't even have that week's 4* cover then you won't be able to participate in the event? I haven't tried for any of the 4*'s lately, in story mode or PvP.

Yea, that's what I'm guessing.

Jean Grey's the only character I have no covers for, but there are several of my 4* that would stand no chance solo. Might get lucky if I rely on Team-Ups.

Some characters are gonna be shitty on their own... like Prof X? Seems like it would be a boring match playing with him solo, although I guess you could go invisible and chip em to death.

Anyone have any luck with simulation 41 on the current gauntlet? Enemies are level 395 for me and I'm getting slaughtered. I've managed to knock out two of three a couple times, but never even get close to taking down the third. I've tried half a dozen different teams and the best I can do is 3* Hulk/Thor/Black Widow with Hulk tanking as much as possible to fill up green quickly, but he's usually down within 6-7 turns. Just brutal.

It's 4* Deadpool with Luke Cage & Iron Fist. I finally got through it with the previously mentioned team, just by getting lucky with cascades. I got enough green from Hulk tanking to fire off Black Widow's green and then kept getting enough from cascades to use Thor's yellow/Black Widow's purple & green to kill Deadpool. The other two weren't that bad with all of my team still in the fight.

After that node, I managed to beat the next couple Quicksilver-required nodes before hitting a reminder of why I'd been playing more casually for so long. The last character node requires 4* Mr Fantastic, so only the small percentage of those who won him recently can get the top progression reward. I'm not sure why that's the final straw for me, but it is. Just left the alliance and deleted the piece of shit from my phone.

I'm like 0/25 against cyc with my 321 xforce. I have gotten 2 legendary tokens so far and got IW and Starlord.

I tinykitty DID IT!!!!!

I beat Cyclops with my paltry WXF 4/2/3, leveled him up from 146 to 157 using all the iso I had. Took close to ten tries but I was almost beat, he triggered yellow, I didn't have any power ready, his yellow filled his red and he was going to kill me next turn. But, when he matched that last three yellow he needed he set me up for a T shaped 5 black match. I hit it.

CASCADE FROM HELL!

Black was ready to go, hit Surgical Strike, tons of red still on the board, burned up a few thousand of his health that way. Triggers decent cascade. Green is now ready to go, hit X-Force.

I went into this using +2 each of green/black and yellow/red plus 100% match damage so my cascades took a heavy toll.

It's not enough. I'm still cooked.

But.....I got enough yellow ready to trigger Recovery and he only has 2800 hp left. It isn't going to work, there are 12 yellow tiles on the board and it has to land on one of three to make it happen for me. I hit it...

IT LANDS EXACTLY WHERE I NEED IT TO!!!!

I match my Recovery tile, down goes Clops! I got my first Legendary Token. I'm thinking I should save it for next month or even the one after, double or even triple my chances... tinykitty That!!! I open it..

5* SILVER SURFER BLUE! I did it, I won the MPQ lottery!!! Damn stoked. Going to win a second Legendary tonight in the Hulk event. 8-)


So I bagged one! Pretty stoked to say the least. I also snagged my 13th Blade from the Hulk event progression.

Purple Ant-Man seems to be the new Mohawk green. Popping up everywhere.

4* Nick Fury purple from DDQ vault, 8th cover, 2/3/3. I might be able to beat his 1 on 1 DDQ battle when it comes up now.

I had to level up my 2/3/3 Fury from 74 to 123 and it took several tries but I finally downed Magneto. No boosts left. Tough battle.

4 Legendary Tokens so far:

5* Silver Surfer blue 1/0/0
4* X-Force yellow 4/2/4
4* Invisible Woman green 4/5/3
4* Ant-Man blue 3/2/2

Those three and Lady Thor are the only ones I have a decent number of covers for and feel like I stand a chance so I will have plenty of time to recharge between doable 4* DDQs.

Also earned my 10th Scarlet Witch cover fro the BP PvP. came in 99th and earned the blue. 3/2/5

The choke point remains iso. I got so many characters I can't advance because I have no iso.

I got Ant-Man. That was a tough one though. I had to spend ISO on IW and got her up to max at 147. Took about 4 tries. Luckily, I was able to keep her invisible almost the entire match.

I wish I had the desire and energy to grind out the PvE events to get Legendary tokens. But I can barely make myself play the Deadpool Daily as it is.
