You choose when setting up if you want PvP or PvE.

And The Named Enemies...they are in both the normal part and Dark Zone correct?
Correct

Haven't read the whole thread but had a quick question. Been reading up on this online and from what I'm reading this sounds like an online only type game? I'm asking because I'm looking for a few games before I leave on deployment but if its online only it would be pretty useless to me.

I got in to check around and see the loadout screen and see just what I had, mess around and all...I forgot just how great looking the game is....then got the Error Delta screen 5 minutes in....just like old times.

Yep, it won't let you load the game without being connected.

Just an FYI, the Survival DLC for PS4 and a PS4 Pro patch came out on Tuesday. I'm going to check out both later today.

Survival is a whole lot of fun for those of you burnt out of grinding.

I stopped playing Division when I max'ed out all levels (Underground & main story with 4 characters) and came back after maybe 3 months.

I tried Survival and it's fun and challenge. Unfortunately, I survived twice within 2nd day. I was hoping it would give me hard time and struggling for next few days.

By the way, I play on PC version.

Anyone that is on PC version, please feel free to join my group - username: JMH714

Re: The Division -- Xbox One/PS4 -- March 8th, 2016

Finally got a chance to fire up the Survival DLC and wasn't feeling it. It probably didn't help not playing at all over the past couple months since I missed the past couple patches. Oh well, still one more chunk of DLC to look forward to with the season pass.

Re: The Division -- Xbox One/PS4 -- March 8th, 2016

So I don't know what happened and I know don't suck at this game but.....it has become impossibly hard to finish missions....I'm doing missions at my level and just cannot beat them - Invited a bunch of other users to my game session and they got smoked too.

I actually got a little further by attempting the mission by myself but still had problems. Even side missions where the enemies are much weaker then me are difficult to complete.

Is this something new? It's pissing me off and I don't remember this game being this tough at all (difficulty is set to normal as well).

I had similar issues with the first couple DLC releases. We got pretty far in both with good teams but we were never able to finish. Not sure if they scaled back the impact of the weapons or just threw in more overpowered bullet sponge enemies.

I take it your not at level 30 yet? If you are then you could drop down a world tier.

More details and even updates come June at E3. And seems the current game will get something in June with achievements called "Crests" that has ties to D2.....interesting....wonder if another City will be the setting? Said they'll still use the same engine.

Re: The Division -- Xbox One/PS4 -- March 8th, 2016

This is great. I played the Division when it first released, but there wasn't enough end-game content to keep me around at the time. Recently, I picked it up again for PC when it was on sale, and I've been playing through it again. It's really good, and I'm looking forward to a sequel. Hopefully there'll be a quick turnaround between announcement and release.

2018 road map. So if that goes though September, we might actually see a surprise release by the end of the year?

I know I'm late to the crowd but I bought a second xbox and this was a free game (best one available) is this something I can play alone on single player missions?

^^ Absolutely you can... I found playing with 3 others to be better tho. There are some missions that are so goddam difficult, you need the help.

I finished the entire game solo, but you will run into some other players in the city and they might stick around to help you through missions.

Also, the season pass is on sale this week. For $16, I would say it's worth it.

Re: The Division -- Xbox One/PS4 -- March 8th, 2016

Been playing this a lot recently on PC, patch 1.8 is really great.

The endgame is much better than it was back in Vanilla ~ Patch 1.3.

Props to Massive for continually updating the game over the past year and a half, with free updates no less.

Thanks for mentioning this sale...didn't see it but also saw in the PS Store several other Division goodies marked down as well...not sure if MS Store has them too but a good time to buy.

Re: The Division -- Xbox One/PS4 -- March 8th, 2016

Two us decided to jump in again and give it a go and glad we did. In fact we haven't touched the game since the 1.8 dropped back in last December. They did do a serious overall adding far more to do along with loot & gear...like the Classified Sets....that have made the game seem better overall. It seems also everything can be tooled and tailored for your level, style and say solo or with others.

We were so far behind that when we first got in, we were like Level 153. Stepped out of the main base just looking around and the near-by punks almost killed us. Then saw the new area...behind and down from everything inside the base and see players at 250-289. We spent an hour just getting familiar with everything and the new stuff before even going out. My fried has been back for two weeks and got up...with a bit of help...to 285 and she helped me getting up 279.

We got into some of the Global Events but besides that the Daily's & Weekly's along with other various mission types are enough to keep you busy and hoping to whatever you want to get into. I haven't got in some of the events or places yet but when you pull up the side bar (right side) while in the World Map, you can see everything available and it's a lot.....It's been fun to be back in the last few days....worth the wait and based on seeing players in Safe Houses seems to have got quite a few back.
