Thanks! Good through 2021 now. Hopefully I'll get back to playing soon.

I wonder if Spiderman will be on that list?

I'm hoping Amazon matches that Live price. I have a bunch of digital credit that I need to burn through soon before it expires.

Great price on Live!

Too bad that I'm covered until 11/18/2020, so I wasn't able to get in, since it goes beyond the 3 years limit.

Re: Xbox One: S $249 Now / X $499 November 7 2017

Ughh, I have a 2 TB external drive on my One S and only 500 GB left.

Seems like HD space is never enough and now a bunch of games are on sale. The updates are huge and the full game downloads take 50-100 GB sometimes.

How much hard drive space do you all have? Is there such a thing as a 100 TB drive

I have a 2 TB external and delete the stuff I don't think I'm going to play soon. I did a purge recently.

I also have a 2 TB external, but I think it's plenty of space. Easy to delete things.

Same 2 TB, and I think 500 GB free, but I think that's a lot of free space for me.

I only have 500 GB, no external, in my PS4, and for some reason I never ran out of space. I mean, I know why.

Complaining about hard drive space is the most baffling thing to me about modern gamers. Having hundreds of games downloaded on your system that you're not playing makes zero sense.

It's a delicate balance between having the games you own available when you want them and the ever-decreasing bandwidth caps being imposed upon us.

The stock 1 TB on the X.

I found it extremely annoying early this gen to have to manage hard drive space, but I guess I've gotten used to it. At least the stock HDD has enough space that I don't have to manage things often.

Nimbus Data has a 100TB 3.5" SATA SSD that's due out "this summer". no ETA or price:
https://www.zdnet.com/article/worlds...sd-hits-100tb/

Samsung has a 30TB 3.5" SSD in production, the 30.72TB PM1643, but I can't find pricing.

The biggest single HDD available for most consumers is 3.5" 12TB for around $400.
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...23%20600376738

I found this external drive that's a 12x6TB RAID array, or 72TB total (not counting parity loss) with a USB3 connection. for only $5,300:
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...9SIAEPZ7AF9839

It looks like a 12x10TB config, or 120TB, is available for $7,700:
https://www.markertek.com/product/lacie-stfj120400/

I can't find a 12x12TB config for it.

Based on this article, XB1 can handle up to 16TB external storage. I don't know if that's per external device or total:
https://www.windowscentral.com/xbox-...rd-drive-guide

For those running out of space, and basically archiving games, is it possible to just fill up an external drive with older games you're not playing, and then unplug it?

This is damn sexy, AND it has the rubber grips. I wish MS would go back to $45 controllers. I'd probably own 10 of them. I mean the tech inside didn't magically improve $25 from the 360 days.

Every time I see it, I'm struck by how much that controller looks like a maxi pad

I don't like the print on the front or the turquoise color, so sexy is not the term I would use for it

Maybe Corvin just finds maxi pads damn sexy?

Keep an eye out at Best Buy. I picked up a 4TB one on sale for $80. It's one of the slim ones too that doesn't require an outlet plug in either which is a nice addition.

Re: Xbox One: S $249 Now / X $499 November 7 2017

I just checked my storage situation, and I'm at 170 GB free (13%) on my external drive. I'll just delete some more stuff if I have trouble downloading my next game.

I don't think I've noticed this before, but Game Pass has now replaced my Entertainment tab.

Some good titles in the sale. I started playing BC Just Cause 2, but I'm kinda frustrated by the clunky navigation so might just bypass it to play #3, which is cheap in the XL edition.

Nice, thanks! Picked up Fight Night Champions... had no idea it was available as BC content.
