If it is greyed out, then you have the update (or it is not seeing the newest update)... check your store tab and see if it is different... that is how I realized I had the update, then saw the manage storage change under settings.

Phil Spencer dropped some more info about the extra GPU power for devs who are not utilizing Kinect in their game. Obviously, unplugging the Kinect is not necessary. Also, it still works for dashboard commands like "record that" etc, no matter what.

I am still happy with my Kinect. I hope a couple small games come out similar to Happy Action Theater, but I enjoy voice commands enough that it has been worth the money imo.

I don't really use my Kinect but that doesn't mean I think it's lame or useless. I do use it to sign in

I have auto-sign in now. At the moment I use it for some voice commands where it's easier to say "Go Home" than to click the B button multiple times on my Harmony.

Side note: Phil Spencer confirmed in his latest podcast that both Destiny and Sunset Overdrive will use the extra 10% GPU power. Destiny will crank up the resolution and Sunset Overdrive will make the world more immersive (whatever that means). Good too see games already utilizing the extra power if they don't have any motion tracking capabilities. All voice commands still will function correctly.
