For the month of June, Xbox Live Gold members will receive four new free games – two on Xbox One and two on Xbox 360 – as part of the Games with Gold program. You can play both Xbox 360 titles on your Xbox One with Backward Compatibility.



On Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold members can download EA SPORTS NHL 19 ($59.99 ERP) for free during the month of June. Rivals of Aether ($14.99 ERP) will be available as a free download from June 16th to July 15th.



On Xbox 360, starting June 1st, Portal: Still Alive ($14.99 ERP) will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through June 15th. Then on June 16th, Xbox Live Gold Members can download Earth Defense Force 2017 ($14.99 ERP) for free through June 30th.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate conversion web page is up, allowing you to merge your current Xbox Gold + Xbox Game Pass subscriptions for $1.

The best math posted by easper showing the conversion is: months of Gold remaining + months of Game Pass remaining + 1 month of Ultimate for $1
So if you have 12 months of Gold, 3 months of Game Pass for $1 you would get 16 months of Ultimate.

Evidently the max Ultimate is 3 years, so it's recommended to purchase up to that level before you do the $1 deal. (example: have 2 years of Gold + 1 Year of Game Pass or 3 years of Gold, etc.)

The caveat is that there is some questions if you could revert back to Gold only/Game Pass only (from the FAQ: You can cancel your Ultimate membership at any time, and you will continue to have access to your Ultimate benefits until your prepaid time ends, at which point you will not be charged again. The upgrade of any prepaid time cannot be reverted back to Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass.). So evidently once you become an Ultimate user, you would always renew at Ultimate rates.

It shows up as downloadable content in Borderlands 2, but when you press A to download it goes to the store and errors out. I don't know if the store is getting hammered right now or what.

edit: I was able to find in on the website, and added it that way. Borderlands 2: Commander Lilith & the Fight for Sanctuary 5.24GB.

Posted in the "deals" thread, but worth noting here... that Game Pass Ultimate deal is excellent, especially if you have 2+ years of Gold banked already. I went from 20 months remaining of Gold & 1 month remaining of Game Pass to 36 months of Game Pass Ultimate for about $65 (after tax) by upgrading my Gold for 14 extra months before switching to Ultimate. Cost will vary for anyone with different membership time remaining. The best deal is if you already have 34 to 36 months between the two existing memberships. If you're over 36 months, you might be better waiting (for a little while) because any months over 36 will be cut off entirely.
