Ryse was a pretty good game...Soul Suspect was not as good. I'd suggest a red box rental or something.

Titanfall season pass is currently Free. Kicking myself for not buying the game when it was on sale for $6...

Damn Dragon Age borked my console and forced multiple cold reboots before I got the thing working again.
But I finally got to play (six-hour limit, which I hope didn't start with the whole EA-sign-in process that crashed me in the first place) and liked it. I don't do much RPG so some things threw me off like controlling multiple characters in battle. My guess is that once my trial is over, I won't feel compelled to buy it, though.

Battlefield Hardline is now up on EA Access for a more-generous 10 hour trial in advance of release date.

I thought you could download remotely using the Smartglass app on the phone, but I'm not finding a way to do it right now.

Surely we can finish the single player campaign in 10 hours, yes? I mean, that's all I care about with shooters. Are they hoping their multiplayer is suddenly insanely fun?

Hell yes!
Los Angeles is embroiled in a drug war and officer Nick Mendoza has just made detective. Alongside his partner, veteran detective Khai Minh Dao, he follows the drug supply chain from the streets to the source. In a series of increasingly off-the-books cases the two detectives come to realize that power and corruption can affect both sides of the law.

Adam's comments are exactly how I feel. The game is fun, deaths don't feel cheap, the self-made save points are an awesome addition. I, too, haven't reached an "escape" sequence yet, so I'm worried.
I will say, though, the "beginning" of the game felt SO DAMN LONG. I get the purpose, but it could/should have been shortened a wee bit.
