I feel like the Livid Dead levels were as difficult as any of the standard levels in Origins, with all the screen distortion, flipping upside down, etc. They required total mastery to complete.

Probably a dumb question, but why is the install time on the XB1 so much longer than the PS4? Has that been mentioned somewhere? Does it have to do with them going all digital and then switching back to disc?

Phil Spencer has talked about it a couple of times (example #1 and #2). It's high on his list of priorities but there's not a date for a fix or anything yet. He cites the change from the console being always-online as gumming up the works, which I don't really get, but...

That jives with what Phil said a few months back:
On the DX12 question, I was asked early on by people if DX12 is gonna dramatically change the graphics capabilities of Xbox One and I said it wouldn’t. I’m not trying to rain on anybody’s parade, but the CPU, GPU and memory that are on Xbox One don’t change when you go to DX12. DX12 makes it easier to do some of the things that Xbox One’s good at, which will be nice and you’ll see improvement in games that use DX12, but people ask me if it’s gonna be dramatic and I think I answered no at the time and I’ll say the same thing.

Anyone else having issues turning the console on with the controller? My controller will just blink before it shuts off, the console isn't even picking up the signal. I have to manually turn it on every time.
That and it's not saving my point in the game. I mean the auto restart thing.

I had that issue when I had my console set to instant on / standby.
Since I turned that off (due to other issues I was having, like having to hard cycle everyday) I have not had any issues at all.

Just got an invite to the Preview for Overdog, the first interest-based matchmaking service on Xbox One. Have no idea what that exactly means - sounds like Match.com for gamers. Anyway, it came with a code and I'll check it out. Those in the Preview program, check your inbox.

It's supposed to help match you with players who have similar interests in general when playing multiplayer games. So you can chat about Game of Thrones with your online Call of Duty team, or something.
