re: Xbox One: S $249 Now / X $499 November 7 2017

Plug both in at the same time.
Then, I think you need to use the "manage game" option for each of your games to transfer from the 1TB to the 2TB. Basically, whatever you did to transfer games from the internal to the 1TB external... do the same thing to transfer from the 1TB to the 2TB. It's fairly easy.
That's it. After all your transfers are done, you can unplug the 1TB and reformat it or reuse it however you want.

Can you not use two external drives at the same time?

You absolutely can. I think BBEANLPHIE just wants to re-purpose the smaller one for something else.

yes correct 2 can be used at the same time, but I rather just have 2 sources of storage (int and ext) instead of 3. With EA access the drives fill up quick.

The whole thing seems like a barely humorous joke that fizzles out after about 15 seconds. Like you're supposed to 'ironically' admire how bad it is, even though it was purposefully (or at least lazily) created that way. I just don't get the appeal of 'intentionally bad' anything.

I really dislike the GUI of the XOne, and I was hoping they'd overhaul that SOB.

I like how it works. I hate how laggy it is. They really need to focus on that for a change.

I should have specified - I don't like the look of the GUI.

It's weird that the Windows 8-style tiles are the only decent part of the One GUI. It's a convoluted mess after that.

I agree. Searching for anything is a pain in the ass. It's not great on the PS4 either, but it's way better than on the One.

The only thing I really like is being able to use Achievement Art as a static background theme.

All signs indicate that they will be doing that sometime this year with the Windows 10 update.

Geometry Wars 3 : Dimensions is $10.04 (33% off) this week.

Of course it happens right when my other favorite twin-stick shooter (Super Stardust) comes to the PS4, on sale its first week for $10 as well. Will probably give in and buy both.

If voice recognition was integrated for searching, the Kinect would be so much more useful. Not sure why this isn't a thing yet.

Really it's not. Once the search bar pops up, you have to manually enter in or use SmartGlass to search something specific. Not talking about Bing.

Take this with at least a little grain of salt, but there is definitely a Ultimate Game Sale coming next week to Xbox and there was some info that leaked. Per CAG:

Ferrari Racer, on 14 Feb 2015 - 3:48 PM, said:

I know it's a little early to post this, but if you were planning on buying the games below, wait for this sale!

Confirmed by Major Nelson

Info below was posted by a Xbox employee. If the prices/games turn out to be different, I'll update it. Keep in mind the link below is the AU version. There WILL be a sale in the U.S. though.

UPDATE- Microsoft took town the page so here's a screencap- http://abload.de/img/ugs8obh1.png

I just picked it up on PSN for that same price. It seems pretty good so far. Very much like that last last isometric Lara Croft game, but a little prettier. Don't know much about what's included in the Season Pass but it's gotta be worth the $3.40 difference unless you really dislike the game.

Lords of the Fallen wasn't too well received by critics as a Dark Souls clone, but for $9, I doubt I could pass on it. I'm sure some of the gameplay elements will be enjoyable. Same goes for Sniper Elite III at $10. Won't pass on that either.

We all knew Angry Birds was absurdly overpriced at launch, but I was actually stunned to see its still $50 in the Store. How can they in any good conscience charge that much? I'm not at all sure I even want it for $10 on sale

Lords of the Fallen for that price is a really good deal. Totally worth it.

I'll probably go for Sniper Elite also, and maybe Halo.
