If it uses the same wireless connection that your controller does, then I'd say it would. Then again, MS hasn't released any actual details beyond it being $24.99 and its coming out for sure, lol.

The team is working hard to deliver some exciting updates in March that will make Xbox One even better. But in order to ensure our customers have the best experience on Xbox One and Xbox Live, we need the help of our passionate community.
Beginning today, Xbox is inviting select Xbox Live members to preview new features coming to Xbox One in a March system update and future system updates as they become available, asking them to provide valuable feedback before the updates are implemented worldwide. Selected participants will receive a message over Xbox Live with a code to register. The next system update will begin rolling out next week to those who will preview the new features. Once registered, participants will be able to test the early features included in the update and provide feedback on a private forum and can opt out of future waves.
Like Marc Whitten announced last week, the updates coming in March will significantly improve the multiplayer and party experiences on Xbox One. We’re counting on our fans to share their input as we’re putting the final touches on the new features that we plan to deliver in early March.
Thanks for helping make Xbox One even better. We look forward to hearing your feedback on the system updates whether you are participating in the preview or not. We love to hear from you.

I don't know how they got it early but I was watching someone play it on PS4 last night through the streaming service. The video quality was crap so I can't really comment on the graphics. It looked like a classic Thief game, which makes it a day one purchase for me. Sneaking around...using different types of arrows with the environment...stuff like that. Looks to be cross between Splinter Cell, Elder Scrolls, and something like Dishonored.

I've never played any of the Thief games, but was thinking I'd check this out... maybe after reviews pop up. If it's even remotely as good as Dishonored, then I think I'll enjoy it.

Reviews on Thief are not going to be good at all from what I'm hearing. The AI is reportedly laughably bad. We'll see, but for my part I'm being very cautious with this game.

PCGamer did a hand on a couple weeks ago that wasn't very positive. Other reports seem to echo them.

The Thief franchise has always been solid, if you like that sort of gameplay, and as much as I like something like Splinter Cell, I just never had the patience for Thief.

I'm not criticizing. This announcement just reminded me of that picture (which I believe is real, not fake). I've never been in the beta program with the 360, but wouldn't mind doing it for the XO, since I use it daily. If anyone here gets the code and doesn't want to use it (or doesn't have an XO...), I'll take it.

I got the code yesterday. I d/l the content and then watched the X1 equivalent of a PC spinning beach-ball sit there for over an hour and say something to the effect of "logging in.... please wait".

Hmmm, debating the Beta program. If this wasn't on our main TV I would consider it but given I'm not the only one why uses it for TV, then I can imagine some additional yelling from the wife/kid that it's not working.

Well I like to make my wife yell at me because our tech stuff doesn't work. You should send me the code. Also because I did that one that one thing for you that one time. You know, the thing you totally forgot about, and still don't remember but don't want to feel like a jerk, so you'll just smile and nod and send me the damn code.

Yeah, but is it surprising? PS4 outsold One 2:1 in January and I'll bet February will be similar as well. Titanfall is being billed as the "system seller," so this makes it a little more appealing if you break it down. System ($435), Game ($60) 1 month XBL ($5?)
I'm just curious to see what retail outlets will do. Do they really have space for two system bundles on store shelves right now? Because no one is going to come in and pick up the system that costs the same without a game.
