Where exactly are you guys seeing the $5/month game pass option? On your console, or on the website?
(sorry if this was already clarified... I'm pulling an Oldboy)

Make sure you are logged in. Mine showed $9.99 for about 3 or 4 days before I got the reduced price.

That is so weird, I've bought like 15 already and it still shows $4.99 for me.

Yup it is targeted for some reason. No rhyme or reason as to how gets it.

Since there's no Sea of Thieves thread...
Who can take part in the Scale Test?
The scale test is open to Xbox Insiders and those who had access to the Closed Beta. If you are an Xbox Insider and want to take part, you can navigate to the Insider Hub on your dash, and install the Sea of Thieves Scale Test build.

I hadn't heard of it. Looks to be a short but fun diversion -- perfect for a freebie.

I bought Trials of the Blood Dragon during a PSN Flash sale and of course never played or even downloaded it.

I've been wanting to play Superhot for awhile now, at least on PC. I'll take playing it for free on Xbox

Yeah same here. I came very very close a few times, but never pulled the trigger on it. The PSVR version was the closest I got, but then I ended up selling my PSVR. Glad I waited.

JRPG twice
<iframe width="620" height="349" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/KZPpeMCJCu0" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>
SEGA has announced that popular JRPG Shining Resonance Refrain will be heading west this summer, marking the first time the Shining series has made the journey to the other side of the globe in ten years. Telling the story of sword-wielding Yuma and his closest allies, as they do battle against the Empire, the game is a remaster of the original Shining Resonance, which previously had only seen the light of day on PS3 in Japan.
Refrain will include English and Japanese audio, all of the original game's DLC included as the base 'Original Mode', and the new 'Refrain Mode', which unlocks Imperial Princess Excella and Dragonslayer Jinas as party members "for a new experience". This is best played as a second playthrough to avoid spoilers, SEGA recommends.
Featuring real-time combat, you'll need to use the unique strengths of each party members in battle, while deepening your connection with each character. Events and dates will crop up in Refrain, enabling you to boost your relationship and reveal their full potential. Deep bonds will lead to a 'Resonance' occuring between characters, unlocking a greater level of support in battle.
Shining Resonance Refrain will be heading west in summer 2018 with a Draconic Launch Edition available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, bundling the game with a metal slipcase featuring artwork of Excella, Sonia, and Kirika for $49.99.

As part of a "refocus" for indie developer and publisher DotEmu, Ys Origin will be making the jump to Xbox One this spring. With the company looking to revive retro franchises like Windjammers and Wonder Boy, cult JRPG Ys Origin will be the first game in the series to hit Xbox.
Greeted by critical acclaim upon its release for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita last year, Ys Origin takes place 700 years prior to the events of Ys I & II, as the land of Ys teeters on the brink of destruction. With hordes of demons invading, the twin Goddesses who ruled over the land are forced to protect their subjects by transporting them into the safety of the clouds.
In response, the demons built the fiendish Devil's Tower as a means of pursuing into the clouds, causing the battle to continue raging on high. Exploring the tower, you'll unravel a deep mystery and unlock secrets through solving puzzles and navigating "arcade-like" platforming. Ys Origin is coming to Xbox One in spring 2018

Ys Origin and Shining Resonance/Force for Xbox One...holy f. I read the Shining Resonance one earlier today and was overjoyed, but Ys is freaking awesome.
By the comments, doesn't look like Y's would be a physical release though which is a big shame . Heck, I would import that sucker if I had to.

At the same time, the first N64 game was a whopping 8 megs and is more than 20 years old now, and the sequel only had 12 megs to play with. First-gen 3D console games are tough to remaster just because there's so little to work with. This is certainly not a looker, but I'm not sure how much it could be polished without being a flat-out remake.
I do feel like it's more of a nostalgia play than anything, and since I was a PC gamer at the time...yeah, not for me.
