As of now, these are the only EA games on Xbox One:
I would assume Garden Warfare makes it onto the service sooner rather than later. I expect Need for Speed, Titanfall, and UFC will join the "Vault" once the sequels become announced or are close to release.
- EA Sports: UFC
- Battlefield 4
- FIFA 14
- Madden NFL 25
- NBA Live 14
- Need for Speed Rivals
- Peggle 2
- Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare
- Titanfall

“We evaluated the EA Access subscription offering and decided that it does not bring the kind of value PlayStation customers have come to expect.
PlayStation Plus memberships are up more than 200 percent since the launch of PlayStation 4, which shows that gamers are looking for memberships that offer a multitude of services, across various devices, for one low price. We don’t think asking our fans to pay an additional $5 a month for this EA-specific program represents good value to the PlayStation gamer.”

Now that I really think about it, EA really went all in. They could have included the lesser games in the Vault, you know, the ones that are not there. But no, they went with FIFA and Madden who had millions on fans and BF4, probably their best shooter.
You can argue that most FIFA and Madden fans already have the game, and probably the same about BF4, but I still think that they decided to start the right way. I mean Peggle 2, who doesn't want to play Peggle 2?

Cool found a invite in my inbox, and signed up for a month. I started downloading Battlefield 4, not a big sports fan, but will try out FIFA 14.

They've already confirmed that Titanfall will not be part of the EA Access program.

I see Titanfall's season pass concluding in October (the first map pack came out in May, the second is released tomorrow) with Respawn making the occasional updates to continue supporting the game and then ultimately announcing Titanfall 2 sometime in 2015. I wouldn't be surprised if we see an announcement prior to E3.

Not accurate. If you drop membership and later renew, the games are again playable/downloadable.

Wow. That Strike Suit Zero game is one of the worst things I have ever played. I pity anyone who spent money on it. Awful controls, terrible graphics, no idea wtf is happening....just bad bad bad.

I have not tried Crimson Dragon yet. Going to make myself finish the first shitty game
At least with these games out of the way, and the inevitable LocoCycle freebie, we "should" be out of terrible games for Games With Gold.

Clearly Microsoft is unencumbered by the self-imposed 80-or-greater Metacritic score criteria that Sony uses for PS Plus freebies. That Strike Suit game is pretty lame -- it's like Star Fox 64 without the charm or humor. Haven't tried the dragon one yet. What's extra-strange is how similar the two games are in gameplay. Not that I'm itching for Lococycle, but if you're giving it away anyway, why not mix it in here are break up the dogfighting into two separate months?

Don't bother.
I played through the first level last night, and pretty much everything about it, top to bottom, is awful. Last-gen graphics, controls that just don't feel right, incredibly bland gameplay, terrible writing... I was really looking forward to this one prior to launch, but the incredibly negative buzz really is on the money.

I read one review of Crimson Dragon that made it sound interesting, but otherwise all reviews have been pretty negative. I'll give it a try this weekend, but I'm really not expecting to enjoy it.
I played some FIFA last night. Had no idea what I was doing. I think I figured out how to basically punch the other players so that was... interesting.

I tried the first level of Crimson Dragon and I think it's slightly better that Strike Suit Zero in a similar way to dying of sepsis might be a little preferable to dying of dysentery. Both are awful. I'm a little fuzzy as to why shooting fireballs at a dragon who is coming in and out of a lava pit seems to damage him.

"But, that dragon is swimming in lava... why are you shooting fire at it?"
I had no answer other than "Because this game is free."
