PS3 wireless-n thru ethernet with adapter (question)

I was having trouble with Netflix over wifi with my PS3, so I just bought a Netgear wnce2001 wireless-n adapter. I got it to work easily but have an advanced setting question.

If I want to put my PS3 in the DMZ, which device do i give a static IP to (or both)? Since the adapter connects thru the PS3's ethernet port, i have to set up the PS3 as a wired connection, but also the adapter as a wifi device.

Also, what are your top connection speeds on your PS3s?

Wired directly to my router, or using this new .11n adapter I max out around 20Mbps. The same adapter hooked up to my laptop does 57Mbps.

Is it just the crap NIC of the PS3?

Netflix did seem better tonight though.

Yes, the NIC is crap. But 20 Mbps should be enough for almost anything, right?

And I would put both IPs in the DMZ, since I guess you are using a bridge.

Yeah, it should be plenty, but I'm one of those guys that doesn't like to feel I'm missing out on something
