Samesy! I use the docks for both my Xbox and PS controllers. Issue free here.

Also like Obi-Wan, mine are plugged into a surge protector.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

For anyone interested, Amazon has the Borderlands 2/Beat Saber PSVR Bundle for $299.99

Inside the Bundle you get:

PS4 VR Headset
(2) PS4 Move Controllers
PS4 Camera
Borderlands 2 (Digital)
Beat Saber (Digital)

Not too bad of a deal considering how much everything costs separately.

Made the jump today and Price Matched at my local Best Buy earlier today. Looking forward to (eventually) playing Resident Evil 7 in VR.

Cool, I never picked up What Remains and think I heard it was pretty good. Think Q liked it.

Still that is a pretty modest month. Overcooked has already had a sequel and has been dirt cheap on every system numerous times by now. Anyone who still doesn't have that game didn't want it much.

Now that PS Plus is just 2 games a month, they really need to step it up a bit.

They're both new to me as well. Edith Finch I recall getting good reviews and being recommended, but it wouldn't be a game I'd buy at any price. Getting it with PS+ is exactly why I subscribe.

Awesome news! EA Access is coming to the PS4 this July! I have been waiting this for a very long time.

Interesting ...I'd give it a try for a month. Seems like mostly sports titles though. For those interested, here's the list that's currently available on xbox:

I loved Edith Finch and don't feel bad about spending $10 or so on it last year. Granted, the "walking simulator" style of game is not for everyone. I loved the format of going through all of the "death vignettes" as you explore the house, and the varied tone of the stories (from sad, to fantasy, to silly, and even EC comics horror).

There's another decent sale going on now, lots of stuff on sale. https://store.playstation.com/en-us/...LEDISCOUNTSG/1

If you're looking for a decent MetroVania game, I just picked up Sundered for $6, and it's pretty neat so far!

The only reason I regret buying Burnout Paradise in an earlier sale is because at the rate they're going, they would've paid me to get the game in a few months. That game is always on sale.

It's got an adjustable difficulty. But later on, unless you're well leveled up, it can kick your ass, even on easy.
It does control really well, but it's easy to get lost and/or not know where to go, what to do next.
Though it's worth it for the hand-drawn art/animation alone.

I'm playing on easy, and while I haven't played a TON yet, I have died a number of times. It's interesting.. it's not like Metroid, where every time you enter a new room, the same monsters are in the same spot. The world seems kind of empty, and then all of a sudden a swarm of enemies (of variable numbers) just shows up and starts fucking things up. Kind of keeps you on your toes. I like it so far, but I definitely won't be kicking up the difficulty.

*edit - OK, it's starting to get frustrating Those mobs of enemies that shoot lasers from off screen can die in a fire!

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

Looks like returning my copy of Days Gone in April was a good idea. Though reading that, I guess they don't actually say that it or MLB The Show 19 will actually be $19.99...

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

Yeah, starting at $19.99. My guess is GoW for $20, Spiderman for $25, MLB for $30 and Days Gone for $40

Also, PS+ for June looks good. Borderlands Handsome Collection and Sonic Mania.

If Days Gone hits $40, that would be $32 at BB w/GCU. I still don't know if I could add it to the pile, although I think that's where I grabbed Spider-Man.

Damnit! I bought Days Gone (GCU) at launch and haven't played it. I opened it though since the disc was loose so no returning it.

June's free games include Borderlands 2, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and all the current DLC for both games. Also Sonic Mania, which I have very excited about. I always wanted this game, but i'm too cheap to buy it.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

So I'm kinda regretting not getting the $200 deal at Christmas and now it doesn't seem like there's any similar deals. Is it possible we could see something around E3?

Also, what is the cheapest we can spend for the online service? We're already paying for Xbox Live and Nintendo online, not sure how much else we can squeeze in.
