Mine is about to end as well. First time I have had to re-up it since the PS4 launch.

Tetris effect demo is up and is limited since it expires on nov. 5. After playing the demo in non vr I will get it on the first time it’s on sale which I’m sure will be during thanksgiving.

Yes, but it also includes Kingdom Hearts III, which boosts the price to $99.99.

Well since Blizzard more or less gave the middle finger to PC and Console Players with any new Diablo News instead of going with a New Mobile Diablo Game....seem all was lost on getting that Diablo/Top Down Style of Gameplay for awhile....well fear not because the highly played & though of PC (and added to XB not long ago)...Path of Exile is coming December to PS4.

Something about Path of Exile just doesn't look right to me. I know it has a following but eh. Guess I can finally bust out Divinity: Original Sin 2 or Pillars of Eternity.

Seems most of the trailers I've seen show the combat side giving me more of an impression it leans to it far more like in Diablo and then I see some where it's more RPG with choices and decisions on the fly with combat in-between.

It's much more RPG. I play it on easier mode so I don't get my ass kicked too bad.

I'll look at it again and see. I actually wanted to try the first one first but so many said the second is vastly improved.

...and on a side note on Path of Exile...it will have a Free-to-Play model like the PC version which is helped funded primarily from cosmetic stuff. Warframe has succeeded greatly with this not having any Pay-to-Win with countless in store options for about everything. We shall see what happens.

I recommend checking out the original first. My friend and I picked it up after playing through Diablo 3 because we wanted more of that and it wasn't even close. We played it one time for a few hours and never went back since it wasn't our thing.

After seeing a video of the game yesterday, I bought the full digital version right away.

The way the game dynamically changes the music is so delightful. I don't know if embedded tweets work on this subforum, but I'll try:

<script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

Yeah, it's $40, which is steep for "Tetris" but I had so much fun with it yesterday, and even managed to complete the entire Journey mode (albeit with a D rating ), but it seems like there's a whole lot more to do.

My biggest complaint is that I sit maybe 10 feet back from my TV, so I like to have the playable area of this game zoomed in more so I can see it better. This is fine... but if you fail a level (as I did. Many... many... times), it reverts back to the "standard" zoom. It's not a big deal on the slower levels, but there's one or two that start at Speed 13 (on Normal difficulty... no idea what it's like at higher difficulty levels).

Is there anything like Tetris Attack for SNES put there? That was my favorite Tetris.

That Tetris game would be mindblowing in VR. Especially if you were stoned

"Tetris Attack" was a port of the first Panel de Pon game to the US. Later US ports have been rebranded as "Puzzle League" in the US. They're exclusively on Nintendo consoles, although there hasn't been one released for the Switch yet.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

Anyone here do a pre-order Digital from Amazon?

I'm trying to see when and how the actual DL starts. I did the Fallout 76, got the Beta, took it for a go, and today saw my actual code to enter. At first i went to the PS Store and that was wrong. I had to go thru the Playstation.com site which I did enter and said code accepted. But I didn't see anything pop up, in notifications, a new icon.....?

I have a friend who did the digital thru the PS Store and she said the early DL started and took awhile. So she's ready to go at midnight but I haven't seen anything...yet? Is there another step or a message from Playstation on this....I'm a bit puzzled and hope the DL doesn't start at midnight.

I'm bored. Should I get RDR2 or Spider-man?

I keep reading that acronym as R2-D2.

Yeah, Spider-Man is a blast. RDR2 is beautiful and deep but I don't think it's as much fun - or at least it takes a good long while to become fun.

Well this is a little crazy

PlayStation Skipping E3 For First Time in Show’s 24-Year History

https://variety.com/2018/gaming/news....co/9kOL41KgOj

First no PSX this year and now no E3 next year? So I wonder if they will have a side setup like EA has been doing or if they are skipping it entirely.

It’s up again, or at least working for me. Weird they won’t be there.
