Dead by Daylight (one of the free PS+ games this month) is pretty much a Friday 13th clone, and it's fun. So there should be plenty of people playing now since it's free.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

Well I tried to get one of the PS4 Limited thru Best Buy and that was total Bullsh*t.....

About 5 minutes before midnight have page ready.....
At midnight reload page and still see.....Coming Soon...
About 5 minutes after midnight refreshing page and still getting...."Coming Soon"
About 12 minutes after midnight finally....there it is...."Add To Cart".....hit and WTH....."Item is currently unavailable to order online".....
Continue to refresh page and still see the message despite...."Add To Cart"....
About 18 minutes after midnight I refresh page....and see..."Sold Out"....
And I've already seen some on Ebay say order confirmed Best Buy....

From what I saw it was the same with Gamespot...and already they're up on Ebay…."Order Confirmed.....$800 to $1,400"...….I hope the things are still under their bed 3-4 years later after the PS5 has come out....

That is usually my experience but I actually managed to get one pretty easily on the best buy website. I had the page open and started refreshing at like 10 my time and then around 10:02 the option add to cart popped up and I got one.

I think Target is the last option. They haven't opened orders yet.

How the hell were you able to order online? I had the page up 10 minutes before 12 Midnight and all the way till 15 after with it showing...."Coming Soon"....when I saw..."Add To Cart" (was refreshing every 5 seconds). Hit "Add To Cart" and it shows..."This item is currently unavailable to order online" in a red outline box at top of the page. I keep refreshing and keep getting the same message and then about 20-25 after midnight..."Sold Out"......12:30-35 already Ebay Offers up..."Order Confirmed - Best Buy".....

Yea...I had Target's Page loaded and ready to and they're suppose to open ordering at 12PM...but my guess they'll sell out in minutes to. Sad and a shame so many bought for pure greed but it's been that way for a while with Limited and Launch models. It's sickening to see the asking prices....up to around $1900.00 now. A lot of comments from ticked off people at Amazon all which sound like me wondering how so many seem to Sell Out before they even had a chance.

I put my two cents in I personally wouldn't give these clowns $1.00. And if I did have $800 to $1900, I'd go visit some PC Gaming site like Cyberpower and buy a nice PC Gaming Rig or maybe just grab a Xbox One X or normal PS4 Pro along with a new TV........I'll try Target but I wonder if "Insiders" there have the jump already......One guy on Ebay boasted they got two with help from his wife and no doubt "Insiders" at Gamestop and Best Buy had their hands on one before being offered to the public.

I literally did the same thing you did. I bought it on my desktop. At 1002 it switched to add to cart for me. I even had time to go downstairs and get my credit card cause it was asking for the 3 ccv numbers.

That PS4 is sexy, but it's too late in the life cycle for me to consider it especially since I already have a Pro.

Yeah Target sold out too. Think of it this way, there are only 50K of these made worldwide. And with someone like Wario64 that has over 100K followers tweeting when preorders go up, the odds of getting one isn't too good.

Personally if I didn't already have a Pro, I would pick up the Spiderman bundle. It's $100 less and comes with a game that is probably going to be pretty amazing.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

I thought really hard on that Spiderman Bundle and now sort of kicking myself but might be more bundles coming and announced for the October and November releases. The Spiderman game might be the sleeper hit of the Fall Releases. It's got game coverage but seems most has been toward Destiny's The Foresaken, Red Dead 2 and COD. I'm not shedding a tear not getting one and for me it was good if I got one and no big deal either if I didn't......just shocked at the amount so far up for sale at the insane prices.

Frankly....for that amount....I'm almost tempted to buy a Xbox One X...and pray my launch PS4 keeps chugging along. On the other side, maybe the normal PS4 Pros will be more available also. They've been running thin for several months and in fact I can order one on Best Buy.

I'm not sure how Spider-Man is a sleeper, I feel like there's a ton of hype around it ever since it was announced and has been one of the most anticipated titles for some time now.

Yeah, pretty sure Spider-Man is going to be huge from everything I have heard. Game doesn't interest me in the least, though.

Dead Cells might be considered a sleeper hit (especially since most of the physical disc copies are sold out). Spiderman, not much. It's a fucking Spiderman game by Innsominac

I also bit and grabbed the 500 Million edition Gold Wireless headset also. I've had my original Golds for almost 3 years now and they're still in mint shape so just sold them on ebay for $40.

So they released 50,000 of those new PS4 pros and I just looked and there are over 1000 auctions for them up on ebay. That's a crazy percentage of people trying to make money off them.

Take a look at those selling on Amazon. A vast amount are a business and/or a shop with a lot of 'Just Launched' sellers as well. Going price is $970 to $2500 here in the states. I know sadly some suckers are out there and do whatever just to have it. I do pray that common sense and a dose of reality prevails and a majority says, "screw them"....there are far, far better things to do with that much money and still have some left over to put aside.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

We finally have a more official word from Sony about crossplay.

...today, Sony CEO Kenichiro Yoshida reportedly told the press that his company generally doesn't believe in the idea of opening up the PlayStation to cross-platform multiplayer.

"On cross-platform, our way of thinking is always that PlayStation is the best place to play. Fortnite, I believe, partnered with PlayStation 4 is the best experience for users, that's our belief," he said, according to The Independent.

"But actually, we already opened some games as cross-platform with PC and some others, so we decide based on what is the best user experience. That is our way of thinking for cross-platform," he reportedly added.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

Sony should get way more shit for their stance on this, but as the market leader I don't think it will matter much. I hope Bethesda holds true to their threat of not releasing the Elder Scrolls card game on the platform if they're not allowing it.

Thanks! It appears to be a different Spider-Man Dynamic Theme by Marko Djurdjevic than the one you get from Pre-Ordering the game. (Free one is Battle Theme, the pre-order is Web-Slinger)

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

I've been having a PSN website issue lately where I add stuff to my cart and half of it will disappear from my cart and then when I go back to try and add them again it says you can not purchase that content. It did it with the 2 PS3 PS+ games last month where I added all the PS+ stuff to my cart and then when I went to check out they were gone and then it wouldn't let me add them again. It just did it again when I tried to add all the free FFV dlc. It let me checkout on like half of them but the rest disappeared from my cart and I can't get anymore.

I'm in the market for a Pro, before Spider-man is released, and I'm a bit bummed.

Wanted that LE but was away on vacation when it went for sale. The Spiderman Pro is a good deal but I think the red one looks ugly as sin. I'd pick up the regular version but it's the same price as the Spiderman Pro, but without the game. I wish they would drop it back to $350.

^ Thanks.

Last couple of hours to claim that free static Spider-Man theme that has exactly the same content as the CE Statue which Sony seemed to think was a huge spoiler that had to be protected from public view.
