That's a really good looking limited PS4. Easily the best I've seen in sometime. Too bad it's not a Pro.

Agreed, and I don't see any "pretty good" deals either.

I'll wait for the E3 Specials...as of now one of the best deals I've seen is Assassin's Creed Origins at Amazon for $30.00. In the PS Store the Battlefield 1 & Titanfall 2 combo at $20.00

God of War is decent at 20% off. Not bad for a first party title this close to release. Too bad it's not this week so we could stack our 20% coupon.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

Hello All

Has anyone tried and got a refund/credit off a Digital Game thru the PS Store?....or is it even possible?

I've never even thought of getting one in the past no matter the game but with Space Hulk: Deathwing, I'm at my wits end & patience on the MP/co-op side which is unplayable, laggy, inconsistent and just flat out broken. I've played games where there are "issues & bugs" but never have seen one where the playing of Solo/Campaign vs MP/co-op is as night & day as this.

Solo/Campaign is as normal as any game I've played without so much as hiccup or issue. But the co-op/MP side....worst I've ever experienced in any game period including going back to my earlier 360 days. I've roughly tried getting in about 24-26 groups and have managed to get in about 5-6. The rest has been getting loading screens and waiting 2 minutes only to get the dreaded 'Network Error" message which you're bumped to the main screen to start all over. Tried (8) times last night and didn't even get into one group. It's beyond horrendous....so no recourse to look into a refund/credit if possible

No harm in calling and asking. 1-800-345-SONY (1-800-345-7669) I think they have an obligation to sell you a game that actually functions as described. And it just came out so it's not like you've been playing for months and now decide you want your money back

I would also reach out to the game's publisher about your problems.

Hello Again

For those who got a new Pro (or even regular) model to replace their launch model, what was all involved in transferring everything over...just thru the cloud and/or USB Drive and re-load all the games?

I'm wondering if I can actually pull the existing HD (Seagate 1.5TB Hybrid) out of the existing and pop that in the new one? With that E3 Sale going on might end up grabbing a PRO and doing all the reload & transfer this weekend.

You can't move an internal drive between PS4s without the new one reformatting the drive. If you really want to move your drive, you should back up your existing PS4 to an external drive, move the internal drive to the PS4 Pro which will reformat it, and then restore the backup to the PS4 Pro.

If you have both units available at the same time, it is a pretty painless process to transfer everything from your old PS4 to your new one.

I didn’t realize that in 2018, not one but two shitty unfinished tennis sims were released. Usually we go like five years with nothing, if that. At Mario Tennis is coming.

It's missing Uncharted Lost Legacy & Horizon Zero Dawn... and these games have been this price for the longest.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

Did you try reaching out to Sony? Even if it's out of warranty, it might still be cheaper to send it in for repairs than buying a new one.

Unless of course you are looking for an excuse to buy a Pro

Its a launch system. Been having problems with system software errors lately. Had to reinitialize a month ago.

My system was dying recently. I upgraded to a Pro.

Of course the deals were two weeks ago during E3.

I would but I think my launch model is self-aware. I haven't got the stalls & freeze ups I was getting a lot weeks ago. Instead I'm getting occasionally some slight but noticeable flickering. And when I get serious about looking at a PS4 Pro online, my PS4 acts and works perfect. I swear the thing being hooked up to the network knows when I'm online looking....Hal 2000....

Mine has been getting the disc eject bug recently. Anyone know of how to repair that?
