Neither, I would wait until next month and spend the extra $100 and get the PS4 Pro. That way you are somewhat future proof for the time being.

Yeah, I have to agree. $279 isn't bad at all, especially with the game included, but if it were me, I'd hold off and pick up the Pro for a bit more. U4 will go on sale by black friday, I imagine.

edit: but if the choice is now or never, and it's between those two.. yeah, get the $279 one with U4 and the custom controller.

Yea it's more of a now as I'll be moving to Colorado and won't have internet. So I'm not a big online gamer and don't need bells and whistles. Lol

Wait, you won't have internet at all? So you won't be able to do system updates and download game patches?

System Updates can be downloaded to a PC and burned to disc or copied to a USB, so if you don't have internet, you could have someone with internet mail you a copy.
https://www.playstation.com/en-us/su...m-updates/ps4/

Game updates are trickier, since you can't download them from anything other than the PS4.

How remote is your new home? Satellite Internet can reach near anywhere, and while pricey and slow, you could connect your PS4 to the internet overnight to download updates:

There's a similar service for pre-loading Netflix videos overnight:

OOhhhh Thanks man, those are some awesome suggestions and links!!

To follow with a hotspot, that is an idea that I will probably do later on. The town of Gunnison, CO is not wired for internet so its just satellite and I dont want to spend money on that. I wont be that remote but will be living in the park. Im use to having no internet at home from working in previous parks. Itll be more of a shock for my wife

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

Are new PS4 bundles on their way? I was looking at amazon the other day to see what they had, and most of their bundles were only available through 3rd party sellers. Looking for a good deal ... I've seen the COD bundle for $280 at walmart, but was hoping to get something through amazon (due to giftcard).

If new bundles are on their way (I'm guessing there should be, for thanksgiving?) I can wait.

Sony will have a black Friday bundle for all retailers if the past few years are any indication.

Anyone have any thoughts on a game called Lumo? I seen it at Gamestop yesterday, but hadn't heard anything about it.

It looks like it was released in May (PS4/Vita/PC/XBOX ONE). I'm guessing the disc version is maybe newer? Looks like my kind of game.

Last of Us is constantly popping up for cheap. Usually on IGN deals and/or Rakuten I think.

Cool cuz I really want it. It was $12 on Amazon forever. Until I wanted to buy it of course.
