Nathan Fillion (/ˈfɪljən/; born March 27, 1971)[1][2] is a Canadian actor best known for his role as Richard Castle on the ABC series Castle as well as his earlier portrayal of the lead role of Captain Malcolm Reynolds in the television series Firefly and its feature film continuation, Serenity.
He has acted in traditionally distributed films like Slither and Trucker, Internet-distributed films like Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, television soap operas and sitcoms, theatre, and voice acted in the video games Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach.

Mini Bio (1)
Canadian-born actor Nathan Fillion gained critical acclaim and a large cult of fans when he starred as Captain Malcolm Reynolds on the Joss Whedon TV series Firefly (2002), having previously been a regular on One Life to Live (1968) and Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place (1998). Fillion had also appeared in small roles in the films Blast from the Past (1999) and Saving Private Ryan (1998).
Whedon gave Fillion a chance to display his range when he cast Fillion as the twisted preacher Caleb, a villain, in the seventh and final season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997).
When Firefly (2002) was prematurely canceled in late 2002, the show's cast, crew, and many fans were devastated. Whedon vowed to resurrect the series in some way, and Fillion played Captain Reynolds again in the feature-film Serenity (2005). Fillion followed this film with more big screen leading roles in the horror-comedy Slither (2006) and the indie hit Waitress (2007). He also continued to be a force in television, starring in the short-lived Fox-TV series Drive (2007) and appearing on ABC's Desperate Housewives (2004). He took his first singing part (and cemented his cult appeal) as Captain Hammer in Whedon's musical Internet smash Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog (2008).

That's pretty cool.
And if anybody here hasn't watched Firefly and Serenity, they should be near the top of your to-do list. Seriously. I'm pretty sure both are on Netflix.

re: PS4 Release Thread: Kill Launch App #Driveclub due October 2014!!!
My Nyko charger base somehow arrived today, yep....on a Sunday, from an Amazon seller. Didn't think it would arrive for a few more days so I was pretty happy. With a 4 year old and a 10 month old it's just too much of a pain in the balls to have cords coming out of my entertainment center. I hope these bases don't shorten the life span of my controllers. The one I ordered for the XBOX One won't be here till after Christmas.

Yeah, I want to grab that charger but it's pretty pointless until I grab a second controller. I'm waiting on the red/black one.

Don't forget he was heavily featured in a very popular web based musical series directed and written by the director of a tiny indie film called the Avengers.

You don't know who Nathan Fillion is?
Basically, every time there's a movie or tv show based in a comic, videogame, or something geek, all the internet, ALL, nominates him for the lead. New Batman? Nathan Fillion, Uncharted movie? Nathan Fillion, Wonder Woman movie? Nathan Fillion of course, he looks great in drag.

I know it's still early to be talking this way, but when can we expect the first price drop or real bundle deal? I've been targeting late spring/summer to buy a PS4 since there isn't really anything I want to play right now. I'd hate to buy it right before a price drop.

re: PS4 Release Thread: Kill Launch App #Driveclub due October 2014!!!
I doubt we'd see a price drop for quite a while. My uneducated guess is that the Xbox one will drop first so they can be closer to the price of the ps4. Sony has no incentive to drop the price at this point.
Didn't the 360 with the HD hold fast at 399 for 2 years before dropping? While sony steadily whittled the price of the PS3 down to The 360's price point.
It will probably be the same except in reverse.

It's across all systems, PS3, PS4 and the web store. This is the update day usually, so it could be tied into that. I had a hell of a time redeeming a $50 code I just bought, but pushed it through on my PS3.
