re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

Can't update the Disney+ App on PS4...it's showing a new update in Downloads but everytime I click it, it wants to start and then tells me there's a new version and visit the store. I go to the store and try and again tries to open and same message. I cannot get the new update to install and won't allow me to watch Disney until I update.

Fortnite players for one.
Being able to map jumping to a back button/paddle is a big advantage so you no longer have to take your thumb off of the right stick to jump.

Recently picked up one of the Seagate External 2TB Hard Drives for PS4.

It's really nice to finally have space again on my PS4

Damn, that sucks. Loved XenoSaga. Beat all 3 of them.

Thanks for that Theme code for Ghost of Tsushima Decker! It works for Canada and it’s a sleek one.

Second that...it's a awesome theme no matter if you like the game or not. I wish they made one off this though....

January's Free Playstation Plus games are Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Goat Simulator.

Here's the trailer for Goat Simulator:

I can't believe they're giving that out as a free game.....

Goat Simulator was a Live freebie a few years ago. It's an entertaining diversion for a few hours.

Goat Simulator (without having played it) reminds me of the PS3 game Pain.

Pain was kind of fun as a party game, but I got bored with it rather quickly.

I almost mentioned that it was like Pain. Wasn't sure how many people actually played Pain back in the day though.

Goat Simulator is open world-ish though while Pain limited you to what you could do.

Pain was fun for like a week when it came out. Remember having a good time with that one.

Is PSN really hurting for the Free Games for Plus members? The last few months, their selection has been uninspiring for me because I either have them already or not interested.

This one isn't their fault. I think it has been pretty good and better than Xbox for the most part.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

For my interests, I'd guess that PS+ has at least one game I really want to play every 3 months, a game I'll check out because it looks interesting at least every other month, and games I couldn't care less about a few times a year. Overall, I've found it to be worth every cent I've paid. Because they have provided so many to me, I rarely buy games, and therefore rarely already have one that PS+ offers down the line. The past few months have been pretty good for me. This month is an off month, because I've played the Uncharted games, and Goat Sim doesn't look like it'll hold my attention longer than an hour or two.

I think the Uncharted Collection is awesome for anyone that hasn't played the games or own it yet. But yeah, I can see the argument there since it's older and has been been dirt cheap a few times too, so I wouldn't be surprised if most people don't have it already. I'm a little surprised they didn't do Uncharted 4 or Lost Legacy instead.

I don't agree with that part. I would rather take the four Xbox games a month over the two PS4 games a month just about anytime. Especially once you also factor in Gamepass, which I get that it's a higher tier, but most people here paid just a few bucks for it to stack. So that added value is even more enticing.

I finally let my Live expire because their offerings were kinda lacking. I kinda prefer the PS+ freebies as well.

I wasn’t trying to blame Sony for choosing games that I already had. I just feel that the games given were lackluster to me. I don’t have Live to compare.

Goat Simulator is a sad choice for a free game. It is nothing more than a 20 dollar game when it first came out.

Well, if you're upset about Goat Simulator being a freebie, Wario64 alerted me to a free VR game that was just put up. And you don't even need Plus:

What are some top indie games from the last year or so? I've got some PSN credit to use up. Not really looking for long or AAA games.

This is by far, the craziest game I have ever played. My 10 year loves though.
