It's not going to be useful for Destiny. Destiny doesn't take very long to load anyway.

I mean, if you want quick access to the title screen, then OK, but the game is server based, to even the point that your "saves" are on the server.

It's a feature really built for a game like GTA, where almost all the loading is done at startup. To be able to skip that is great. For games that boot quick, it's not as useful.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

I'm having a few issues after the update. When I come back from rest mode, the what's new, and information below games in the menu just give me a spinning circle and I can't access the store, everything works after a reboot though. And even when I'm having these problems, I can still play online.

Thank god for the ability to back up all game saves. Since the online backup is pretty useless this generation, we needed this option.

The 8th thing I need to know is how to turn off the automatic screenshots of my trophy notifications.

The 9th thing I need to know is how to delete all those screenshots I accidentally took while trying to press the Pause or Menu button.

Settings/System Storage Management/Capture Gallery

Move to what you want to get rid of and hit the Options button. You can hit Options at All, at individual titles, or go inside titles to delete specific items.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

Ugh, why won't my PS4 download and install updates while in rest mode? I have all the right settings checked and have a PS+ membership. I had to download the new update as soon as i woke my system up just now. What gives? It always does this!

I don't know. Mine downloaded automatically. I like the update as far as I can tell so far.

It's been a godsend for GTA V since that game takes forrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrever to load from scratch.

Loving suspend/resume! Was off of work yesterday. Played some Bloodborne while my boy napped. He got up early and snuck down into the man cave. I quickly put the PS4 into rest mode and started right back up where I left off later that night. Totally awesome.

It looks like they have moved closer to what they originally demoed as far as seeing what your friends are doing (though not streaming the game action) and joining in (or buying and joining in) from the same screen. (What's New > Now Playing)

What we need now is the ability to save MP3 content onto the hard drive, so that, like the last generation, I can customize arena music in NHL, stadium music for MLB the Show, and entrance music in the WWE series.

Consider their new relationship with Spotify, there's about zero chance of that happening.

Hell, considering their old configuration with Music Unlimited. Maybe they'll find a way to integrate that into a few games. At least Spotify will have a free version available.

I realize that what you guys are saying is true, from a business standpoint. They were pushing Music Unlimited hard, and now, there is the deal with Spotify. I don't even want it for full songs, the goal horn clips for NHL, the walk up music for MLB the Show, they have always been cropped files. It just doesn't seem right this generation without the custom music.

People had the same issue with the Xbox One media features (ie: it needs to be on to use your cable box). It's a computer, it was made to be turned on and left on.
