It was down/super slow a couple of days ago too, due to "network congestion."

But yeah, it's now offline:

The Last of Us Remastered is the first game I've played on my new PS4 (along with P.T.), and what an experience it is. It was great on PS3, but it's so much more beautiful this time around, and photo mode is amazing. The writing is so far above and beyond anything else being done in modern games, both in complexity and maturity, that it's staggering. Good decision to include it with the system.

It went down at exactly 4:30 am central... I was in the middle of my best Advanced Warfare session yet. I was consistently getting a kdr between 3 and 8, even going 18-1 in a round.

Hey look, a playstation anniversary sale that nobody can get to because PSN is down:
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2015/...es-discounted/

Lots of PS3 games, to give you something to play next time PSN goes offline (but only if you also own a PS3)

I will give them this, they slash like nobody's business. And Tactics Ogre!

Not sure when it came back half on...I fell asleep at 9 central but it's showing "Yellow"...Heavy Traffic possible latency. The same thing it was showing when I first tried to get on around 5:30 Central and was getting the "Under Going Maintenance" error

Almost everything. Not Music Unlimited, PlayStation Plus, movie rentals.

It's still not any better than Best Buy with GCU even with tax. I'll be getting Pinball Arcade DLC and Grim Fandango though.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

The show Powers debuts March 10th.

http://www.polygon.com/2015/1/20/785...-psn-tv-series

Powers, the television adaptation of the Icon Comics graphic novel, will debut March 10 on PlayStation Network, book co-creator Brian Michael Bendis announced today on the PlayStation Blog.

The first three of 10 episodes will arrive on PSN that day, and the following seven will be released in order, a new episode every Tuesday. The pilot will be "free for everyone at PlayStation.com/Powers," said Bendis, and PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to watch the entire season for free. Powers was originally set to premiere in December.

Here's every PS4 game available for Pre-Order :

https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwo...9_PS4PREORDERS

FWIW : While Until Dawn looked amazing, I can't really imagine it's worth the full $60 price. I had assumed it would be a downloadable game or something. There just didn't seem to be that much gameplay (at least based on the demo)

Too bad Borderlands isn't included for pre-order. I might have bought that just for convenience.

Plex Out Today, Stream Your Personal Media to PS4 and PS3

+ Posted by Jamaal Moore on Jan 20, 2015 // Brand Marketing Manager of Emerging Platforms, SCEA

Hey PlayStation Nation, we have been listening to you and want to share some great news with you. Later on today we’re bringing the Plex service to PS3 and PS4 today in the US, Canada and Latin America. I have actually seen the app in action and it’s pretty sweet.

For those not familiar, Plex organizes all of your personal media, wherever you keep it, so you can enjoy it on any device. Whether it’s your movie and TV show collection, your music library or your photos and home videos, Plex makes all your media beautiful by automatically incorporating movie posters, plot summaries, album covers and descriptions. Plex also allows you to share your media collection across all major platforms and devices as well as with your friends and family. At launch, the app will only allow you to stream your videos, but the ability to stream your music and photos will be coming shortly.

Plex for PlayStation is currently available for free to Plex Pass subscribers. In the future, it will be made available, for a fee, to those without a Plex Pass. In addition to the PlayStation app, a Plex Pass also gives you exclusive premium features and early access to new ones.

To get more information about how the app will work and a general FAQ, please click here.

Enjoy!!!

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

Can't tell from the link, but will this allow me to stream any video content from my PC to my PS4, like a media server?
