I didn't even know about that baseball game until reading your mention of it. After searching for and reading a couple of reviews, I'm pretty sure I'll buy it before the day's over. It sounds like a great balance of challenge and actual fun. What ever happened to arcade-style sports games? It seems like a niche that more people would be trying to fill.

I'm enjoying this quite a bit too. Took a little while to get used to the pitching. My biggest complaint though is how awful the umpire voices are, I had to shut them off it annoyed me so bad.

I've played quite a bit now, but I can't quite figure out the pitching and hitting cursors. How are you supposed to figure out when and how to move the cursor for each hit and each pitch? I don't get what I'm supposed to see and do as each hit and pitch is taking place.

If there is anyone who needs a lump of coal for Christmas and a major smackdown it's these clowns.....

Merry Christmas, from hackers: PlayStation Network and Xbox Live both attacked

A hacker group known as “Lizard Squad” has claimed responsibility for attacks targeting both Microsoft’s Xbox Live and Sony’s PlayStation Network (PSN) on Wednesday evening

Microsoft’s Xbox Live went down for Xbox 360 users in the afternoon of December 24th, with the company’s status page for the service showing that Xbox Live core services were “limited.”

The hacker team posted various messages on Twitter, confirming that it took down Xbox Live on Christmas Eve.

“Xbox offline,” the group wrote. “Jingle bells jingle bells Xbox got smacked, oh my fun it is to DDoS in my moms basement …. heyy!”

I just tried to play and the servers are down....11:30 Central Time.

I already expressed my feelings towards these assholes but I'll repeat myself: they need a good beating to stop messing with the services. Enough is enough!

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

Why did I buy a PS4? I find more and more times I cannot get on the PSN network.

Also, that damn disc ejecting bug is still a problem.

Is PSN down for anyone else? Because it was working fine a couple of hours ago and now I can't connect.

re: The PlayStation 4 / PS4 Thread: Still Going Strong

I joined the PS4 family as of Christmas Eve! Got the Lego Batman 3/Little Big Planet 3 bundle. Also jumped on that deal for $18 Last of Us Remastered digital.

Was able to log in late last night and download most of what I needed before today's PSN shenanigans.

All set for Bloodborne, the #1 reason I wanted this console.

Dinklebot: "I'm starting to sense a pattern"

Appears the attacks are over, now up to the providers to just get the servers all online

So PS4 experts, I got this previously recommended hard drive to put in the PS4.

Anyone have an install guide link handy?

I do believe that is the 2TB everyone has mentioned. I went with the 1TB Seagate Hybrid awhile back. Easy swap out. Just back up everything.

What kind if video and audio settings do I need to set to have the optimal experience. Playing on a samsung 55" led and going 5.1 thru a Yamaha receiver. Both components are less than a year old
