Thanks for the info. I tried to find the Merlin pack upc online since I knew about the different upc's. But since it specifically mentioned that particular disc, I did not know if it was marked or not. I asked the cashier about it and she had no clue to what I was talking about. I did not expect her to, but figured it was worth a shot.

I may have to try the scratch trick, provided others haven't wiped them out. I only have about 30 or so discs, but quite a few came from the packs I did buy. I kinda got frustrated and quit buying them. There are some I wouldn't mine having, but I'm not paying Ebay prices for them.

There is a big trading community for these on Facebook and other places on the internet. My girlfriend bought maybe 15 packs of discs total, and turned them into complete sets for series 1 and 2 by only paying a $1 a package for postage.

This exclusive pack also qualifies for the buy one get one free they are running this week. I ended up with a handful of extra discs and I'm trading four of them today to a friend of mine for a brand new Twin Blade Chop Chop Swap Force figure.

Hit up a different TRU today that I was driving by. The Infinity power disc section had been pretty much ransacked. They only had a couple of dozen of their exclusive packs on the shelf with none being the Merlin packs. I did get the new C.H.R.O.M.E. Damage Increaser disc though. Every pack they had, exclusive or not, had been ruffled from someone doing the scratch method; at least that is what I am assuming. I may have to revisit the store I went to earlier this week since it is less frequented.

just got a "save the date" email from Disney. they are doing a live webcast on April 30th at 10 PST for reveal of version 2.0 w/ the marvel characters.

2.0 with 6 marvel heroes at launch, with an additional 12 coming. Total of 18 marvel super heroes.

so PS4 users won't be able to use any of the 1.0 figures for anything

that sucks as well .... I thought all the bases were the same technology
so if we had it for the Wii for 1.0 we would have to purchase a new base for the PS4 for 2.0

doesn't look like we will have any interest in this now

well, all the 1.0 worlds/characters will be forward compatible with the new game. So you should be able to play all that content on the PS4.
