What's the one game you couldn't live without?

I have always fallen back on playing the CoD / MW flavor of the year... I couldn't seem to put down Black Ops II for the longest time. Luckily I got thru Bioshock Infinite and am working on Far Cry 3 without having touched BLOPS II in weeks.

That said, if I had to pick one game that would be supported forever (including an online community) and could have no other games, it'd probably be Black Ops 1. I felt the story in single player was great and the MP was perfectly balanced. A close second might be a sandbox game like GTA IV or even Far Cry 3 --- the options seem limitless.

What would you choose and why?

Ms. Pac-Man (hyper arcade)

Replayability through the roof. 'Nuff said.

The NBA 2K series. (It's basically the same game ever year so it should count as one game!)

first borderlands. for whatever reason, i found it much more enjoyable than the second one, though i really enjoy that. though Rock band was an excellent suggestion as well. maybe if it was my only game i could learn to drum

Civilization IV

I have spent literally thousands of hours playing it. Civ V sucked, and I was bored with it within a week and went straight back to Civ IV.

My all time favorite gaming experience has been Starcraft online. I played thousands of matches online, and everyone was an unique experience. The game offered so many strategies and counter moves that you could never feel completely safe or comfortable in a match. But it is so satisfying to launch an attack on an opponent who has nothing to counter it, and they just have to sit back and be wiped out.

You read my mind. Although, I do enjoy Civ V as well.

I'd have to say super Mario world. As many hours as I've put into it, it still seems to have limitless replayability to me. ( though Starcraft online is a very close 2nd)

If I took one COD, it would be MW2 over 3.
