Day one patch is 5GB on PS4, 7.3GB on XB1. That's in addition to the 47GB install size, of course. Might want to pop the disc in a few hours before you're ready to play the game (or a few days, depending on your connection).

The file size of these games plus their patches is getting a bit out of hand. They really need to sell the new consoles with 2tb hard drives if they want force install the entirety of the content on our systems.

I've kind of ignored this game, but just got an email from Best Buy for a $20 GC with pre-order and purchase. Makes it about $31 net cost with tax. That's kind of tempting. Any early reviews?

I'm glad I pre-ordered the disc so I only have to download 7GB and not 55GB. Can we get some external options up in this bitch? Either way, the game costs nothing post the Rewards Zone deal and if you trade it in ASAP.

This game smells like a Black Friday game for $20. But yeah, I could totally see if you wanted to pick it up, run through it, and trade it back in. I bet the trade in value drops like a rock though. If I knew 100% sure I would have the time to run through it in a week, I would. But I don't want to take the chance being stuck with this one. Not with Watch Dogs coming out the week after.

So the actual PC minimum requirements are some mid-range Core 2 Duo
It's just weird that such a weak graphics card can get you the "ideal" 60 fps they were aiming for.

They don't preload since the GTA V glitch. Games are available with the Tuesday store update, usually 1-2 PM PT. Preorders don't get it any earlier.
That $5 Gift Card pushed me over the edge. I really should just rent this from Gamefly, but getting it for $23 + tax at launch is sort of too good to pass up. If it gets eviscerated in reviews (still possible, I fear) I can just cancel the preorder and not pick it up in-store. I watched some streaming of the game today. It looks okay, a solid if uninspired FPS. Can't really tell much graphics wise from the stream, but still looked pretty fun.

Yeah, the video game footage certainly looks 'nuts', but I was watching some gameplay footage from those who already obtained the game and posted stuff to Youtube, and it does seem kind of boring. I mean, that might be fine if the campaign was short... maybe 6-8 hours... but it's supposed to be a bit lengthier than that. How long can they really expect me to just shoot everything in sight? A week after the fact, Watch Dogs is out, and three days after that is Mario Kart 8.
