Best Buy has upped their $10 in RZ certs to $20 for this one. I was on the fence and that pushed me over. Stacked with the GCU discount, it's effectively $28.

"As a My Best Buy™ member, you'll get $20 in reward certificates when you pre-order and purchase Wolfenstein: The New Order."
This is pretty cool too
"Buy Wolfenstein: The New Order at Best Buy stores and get a free Panzerhund miniature."

I sure hope Best Buy comes through on these 20 dollar certificates. I went to the store today to pre-order it and despite the computer saying the 20 dollar certificates the pre-order slip only mentions ten. Is there anything to worry about?

I'm not really worried and on my receipt there is nothing about certs. If you look at the site...

Also, I guess your receipt after the five dollar pre-pay doesn't refelct the adjusted price for GCU members. Both of my receipts, for this and Watch Dogs, say that I owe 60 and some change for each one. I guess the price will be adjusted on release day?! The only other time I have done anything with my GCU prior to a game's release was when I pre-ordered two copies of South Park the day before they came out and the system made me pay the entire balance rather than only 5 bucks to pre-order.

That's weird. They put both of my pre-orders on the same receipt...Destiny and Wolfenstein. I put $10 to each and has remaining balance at 49.99 for each game.
FWIW...The Doom Beta key is suppose to be inside each game and as of now still no date for when it actully begins.

I always just preorder on the website with in-store pick-up. I've always found it easier to get them to fix a mistake over the phone for an online order than in person for an in-store order.

I wanted to do this but the system wanted to charge me for the full amount minus my GCU discount. I don't like putting charges on my card now for something that I will not have for weeks. Now, if it told me that they would only be charging me five rather than the full amount then I would be ok with it but they don't. It charges you the full amount at the time of the order.

In my case, I've already been charged for both Destiny and W:NO.

Charged or they put an initial authorization on your card? If the former, I'd call them. Their stated policy isn't ambiguous on it. I've got Destiny, Wolfenstein, Dying Light, Arkham Knight and Watch Dogs preordered and haven't been charged a dime for any of them.

You will however be charged once an item is ready for in store pick up. If you don't pick it up 7 days after that, the order is canceled and you are refunded.

I've essentially been out of gaming for the past few years, but I'm about to complete grad school so perhaps I'll treat myself to Wolfenstein and the DOOM beta. Looks fun.

Authorization for the last two I ordered... but I could have sworn I was charged immediately when I pre-ordered South Park and Titanfall... I'm probably wrong though. I'll keep an eye on the latest games over the next day or so and see if they fall into the "charged" category.

Yea...i've pre-ordered both from BB and mazon and neither charged my C.C until I picked up the game or it got shipped.
There's a new trailer up as well...

Can your PC run it, then?
Bethesda also announced that the PS4 and Xbox One version of Wolfenstein: The New Order will require a minimum of 8GB of hard drive space, and 47GB for a total install. The PS3 version, meanwhile, takes up 17GB as a download and 8GB for the disc version, whereas the Xbox 360 version will require an 8GB install and will ship on four discs.

A 4 disc game (360 version for me)....this thing better kick some serious Nazi booty. Geezus. I'm not there day one, but probably the first reasonable price drop I will be.

Somethings seems off about that. The GeForce 460/Radeon 6850 are quite weak, the Core i7 is quite strong. What is it doing that needs a core i7 but shitty graphics card exactly? Also, not identifying the generation for the Core i7 is unusual.
the space requirements are pretty standard these days.

I don't understand those next-gen requirements. I thought you have to install everything. What's the 8GB minimum thing?

If there's a way to play a game on the PS4 without fully installing it, it's news to me.
