I feel like I'm pretty set in the VR games department for a good while now. Just got Red Matter 2, which looks just as good as advertised.
That said, this upcoming PSVR2 exclusive looks REALLY cool. Mixture of gunplay and psy-ops, kind of like Control. And it's 10% off its $34.99 MSRP with PS Plus if you pre-order. I am very tempted.

Well I noticed that a few PSVR2 titles went on sale this week. I had certainly heard about Pistol Whip before and since it was 20% off now (like $23, I think), I picked it up.
OMG that game is amazing. So much fun and tons of content. Highly recommended.
I also picked up Moss Books I & II, for $26. Haven’t tried them yet.

This looks interesting, because to have the ability to see the live-action actors from multiple angles, they've had to reshoot the game with new actors.
The article about an on-hands demo also suggests they've redone the puzzles to be more environmental like an escape room:

I played the original when it came out in 1993. It came on two, count them, two CD-ROMs! (although really only the very end was on the second disc, the game just barely too big to fit on one disc, and the bulk of disc 2 was full of audio CD tracks featuring the soundtrack). It was very impressive for the time, and it seems like this remake may recapture some of that feeling.

I got to see that in action during a 30-minute demo of The 7th Guest VR on the Meta Quest 2. It’s a radical reinvention of the original — so much that it’s hard to call it a remake — and it’s already fascinating me as a historical project. An old-school adventure game becomes an escape room puzzler in VR, a surprising change that connects the dots between the evolution of video game genres....
That switch to VR does call for some radical reimagining, though. The original game’s puzzles are very much built with a flat screen in mind; it wouldn’t be all that exciting to flip cards or complete line puzzles in virtual reality. Instead, Vertigo Games has turned the mansion into a series of tactile escape rooms that are far more involved than anything in the original.

What I remember the most about it was loving the atmosphere, if they do a good job building on that aspect I'll be happy.

Just got some lens inserts for my Quest 2 so that I don't have to wear eyeglasses anymore while using it. The lenses work great and it's much more comfortable to use the headset without glasses. I should have done this when I first got it.

I have to just bite the $60 price tag, it's so uncomfortable trying to get it on with glasses.

That's about what I just paid and, so far, I think it's totally worth it.

That seems very reasonable, where did you order them? I should do this, too.

I used HONS VR. I read a few threads on reddit about VR lens inserts and they were one of the companies that seemed to get mostly favorable comments. You'll need your prescription handy so you can enter the numbers when you order. Mine shipped from China and got here in one week with standard shipping. Installation was fairly easy.
